    Abstract: A method adapted to support a workpiece to be sawed, and a board supporting assembly which is used with the method. The assembly comprises: a front board supporting means for supporting a front board means, a rear board supporting means for supporting a rear board means, and a connecting board supporting means which is adapted to support a rear board means and which is connected pivotally at a front end thereof to the front board supporting means and at a rear end thereof to said rear board supporting means in a manner that the board supporting assembly reduces in size in a collapsed position and has certain dimensional relationships.
