  • Patent number: 10754789
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for an address translation circuit for a memory controller. The address translation circuit can include an address translation table. A first set of rows in the address translation table can be associated with all virtual machine identifiers supported by the memory controller. A second set of rows can be associated with only a particular virtual machine identifier. The address translation circuit can receive an input address for a transaction to processor memory. The address translation circuit can determine an index by inputting the input address into a hash function. The address translation circuit can read a row from the address translation table using the index. The address translation circuit can determine whether an entry in the row includes the address translation for the input address. The address translation circuit can generate and output a translated address using the address translation.

  • Patent number: 10642727
Abstract: A microcontroller may be implanted to manage migration events performed by a separate memory controller to non-volatile memory. Migration events, such as failed writes at the memory controller or wear leveling migrations to move data from one storage location to another may be detected by the microcontroller. The destination location and the data to be migrated may be identified by the microcontroller. The microcontroller may then instruct the memory controller to copy the data to the destination location.

  • Patent number: 10593380
Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques for monitoring the performance of a storage-class memory (SCM). In some embodiments, a performance monitoring circuit at an interface between the SCM and a memory controller of the SCM receives transaction commands from the memory controller to the SCM, measures statistics associated with the transaction commands, and determines a utilization rate of the SCM based on the statistics. Based on the determined utilization rate of the SCM, future transaction requests can be optimized to improve the utilization rate of the SCM.

  • Patent number: 10459662
Abstract: Failed write handling can be implemented at a memory controller for non-volatile memory. Failure of a write to a storage location in the non-volatile memory may be detected. An indication of the failure may be sent to a microcontroller for the non-volatile memory which may return an instruction to write to a different location in the non-volatile memory. Reads and writes to the storage location of the failed write may still be allowed, in some embodiments, by redirecting the reads and writes to a copy of data of the failed write stored in a copy buffer in the memory controller.

  • Patent number: 10185675
Abstract: Peripheral devices may implement multiple reporting modes for signal interrupts to a host system. Different reporting modes may be determined for interrupts generated at a host system. Reporting modes may be programmatically configured for various operations at the peripheral device. Reporting modes may indicate a reporting technique for transmitting an indication of the interrupt and may indicate a priority assigned to reporting the interrupt. An interrupt controller for the peripheral device may report generated interrupts according to the reporting mode determined for the interrupts.

  • Publication number: 20190001589
Abstract: A method to design the kits and layup the reinforcement layers and core using projection system, comprising a mold having a contoured surface; a layup projection generator which: defines a plurality of mold sections; identifies the dimensions and location for a plurality of layup segments. A model-based calibration method for alignment of laser projection system is provided in which mold features are drawn digitally, incorporated into the plug(s) which form the wind turbine blade mold, and transferred into the mold. The mold also includes reflective targets which are keyed to the molded geometry wherein their position is calculated from the 3D model. This method ensures the precision level required from projection system to effectively assist with fabrication of wind turbine blades. In this method, digital location of reflectors is utilized to compensate for the mold deformations.

  • Patent number: 10113058
Abstract: A polymer composition providing optical clarity and impact resistance includes from about 40 weight percent (wt. %) to about 99.9 wt. % (e.g., 50-95 wt. %) of a continuous matrix, and from about 0.01 wt. % to about 60 wt. % (e.g., 5-50 wt. %) of a dispersed phase. The weight percentages of the matrix phase and the dispersed phase are based on the total weight of the matrix phase and the dispersed phase. The matrix phase may comprise a polypropylene polymer comprising from 0 to 7 mole percent (mol. %) of units derived from ethylene, a C4-C10 alpha olefin or combinations thereof. The dispersed phases may be a propylene/alpha olefin copolymer having from 10 mol. % to 70 mol. % of units derived from ethylene or a C4-C10 alpha olefin or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 9756280
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer storage mediums reduce an amount of data captured by a plurality of sensors on a vehicle that is streamed to an operator of the vehicle. Embodiments relate to processing the real-time data captured by the plurality of sensors so that required real-time data that is necessary for the operator to adequately monitor the target area is streamed in real-time to the operator while discarding the unnecessary real-time data. The discarded real-time data is replaced by a three-dimensional virtual model that is a virtual representation of the target area. The three-dimensional virtual model is generated based on previously captured data of the target area. The processed real-time data required by the operator is integrated into the three-dimensional virtual model. The processed real-time data that is integrated into the three-dimensional virtual model is streamed to the operator.

  • Patent number: 9709698
Abstract: A computer method for determining potential wake turbulence by a first aircraft from wake generated by a second aircraft. The computer method includes receiving a signal generated by the second aircraft at the first aircraft and transforming the signal to a first wake turbulence boundary that represents the wake generated by the second aircraft. An intersection volume, which is representative of a zone of dangerous turbulence interactions, is selected for the first aircraft. Based on a determination of intersection between the first wake turbulence boundary and the intersection volume, issuing a warning flag if an intersection exists or continue generating the first wake turbulence boundary and determining whether interactions exist.
