Patent number: 11617908Abstract: A fire apparatus includes an engine, a fluid delivery system, and a controller. The fluid delivery system includes a first pump that provides a first fluid output at a first pressure, and a second pump positioned downstream of and coupled to the first pump in a serial arrangement. The second pump is driven by the engine. The second pump provides a second fluid output at a second pressure. During a first mode, the first fluid output is dischargeable from a low pressure discharge. During a second mode, the second fluid output is dischargeable from a first high pressure discharge and/or a second high pressure discharge, the engine operates at a first set point when the second fluid output is discharged from the first high pressure discharge, and the engine operates at a second set point when the second fluid output is discharged from the second high pressure discharge.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2020Date of Patent: April 4, 2023Assignee: Oshkosh Defense, LLCInventors: Jason R. Shively, David R. Kay, Scott A. McComber, Seth M. Newlin, John D. Woelfel

Patent number: 10843017Abstract: A fire fighting vehicle includes a chassis, an engine coupled to the chassis, a fluid tank configured to store a fluid, a fluid delivery system, and a controller. The fluid delivery system includes a first pump, a second pump, a low pressure discharge, a first high pressure discharge, and a second high pressure discharge. The first pump is coupled to the fluid tank and configured to pump the fluid therefrom at a first pressure. The second pump is positioned downstream of and coupled to the first pump in a serial arrangement. The controller is configured to selectively vary at least one of a speed, a power output, and a torque output of the engine and thereby provide the fluid to at least one of the first high pressure discharge and the second high pressure discharge at a target discharge pressure.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2016Date of Patent: November 24, 2020Assignee: Oshkosh Defense, LLCInventors: Jason R. Shively, David R. Kay, Scott A. McComber, Seth M. Newlin, John D. Woelfel

Patent number: 10379726Abstract: Moving a selected thumbnail image parallel to a linear strip of unselected thumbnail images within a preview electronic display, increases spacing between two of the adjacent thumbnail images, when the selected thumbnail image is positioned proximate them. In turn, spacing between other adjacent ones of the unselected thumbnail images returns to the original spacing, when the selected thumbnail image is not positioned proximate them. Methods and systems return the unselected thumbnail images to the original size in response to releasing the selected thumbnail image between two adjacent thumbnail images, within the movable thumbnail electronic display image, and this changes the linear strip of original size thumbnail images of the document pages from an original page order to a different order having the selected thumbnail image in a different location within the linear strip.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2016Date of Patent: August 13, 2019Assignee: Xerox CorporationInventors: Andrew T. Martin, Brandon Scott McComber, Ken Hayward, Shane Jewitt

Patent number: 9369528Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing extensibility, e.g., on a network of multi-function devices are provided. The system includes an application catalog, in communication with an application database of a catalog server and configured to load applications therefrom. The system also includes a device manager configured to discover one or more devices on a network and to allow selection of one or more selected devices from among the one or more devices. The system further includes a data transfer system in communication with the one or more devices and to cause an application to be transmitted from the application catalog to the one or more selected devices, such that the one or more selected devices receive the application without communicating directly with the application database.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2013Date of Patent: June 14, 2016Assignee: XEROX CORPORATIONInventors: Gavan L. Tredoux, Shiv Singh Kansingh, Roger T. Kramer, Premkumar Rajendran, James M. Sweet, Saurabh Prabhat, Richard Steven Born, Andrew T.
