  • Patent number: 11520499
Abstract: A low-power system-on-chip includes an originating controller, a fabric, and a power controller. The originating controller is configured to initiate a memory transaction request including a source address. The fabric includes an arbiter configured to receive the memory transaction request and determine a first memory device associated with the memory transaction request. The power controller is configured to selectively change a first memory bank of the first memory device from a first power mode to a second power mode based at least in part on the source address. The fabric is configured to perform a memory operation by (a) receiving stored data from memory storage locations corresponding to the source address when the memory transaction request includes a read request, and (b) sending data included in the memory transaction request to the memory storage locations when the memory transaction request includes a program or a write request.

  • Patent number: 11221229
Abstract: Various technologies described herein relate to routing an autonomous vehicle based upon likelihood of interacting with a disruptive third-party vehicle. A computing system receives an origin location of an autonomous vehicle and a destination location of the autonomous vehicle. The computing system identifies a route for the autonomous vehicle to take based upon output of a computer-implemented model. The computer-implemented model is generated based upon labeled data that is indicative of observed instances of a disruptive third-party vehicle exhibiting behavior that impacts operation of an autonomous vehicle. The output of the computer-implemented model is a score that is indicative of a likelihood that the disruptive third-party vehicle will be traveling through a geographic location along a candidate route at a certain time. The score is used in part to identify the route from amongst a plurality of candidate routes. The autonomous vehicle then travels along the route.

  • Patent number: 11160587
Abstract: Apparatus and devices for adding an additional spinal construct in a patient are disclosed. In one arrangement the additional spinal construct extends an existing spinal construct ipsilaterally with an inline rod connector in a minimally invasive or preferably, percutaneous procedure. In another arrangement, the ipsilateral extension of an existing spinal construct uses an offset rod connector for receiving an additional spinal rod that may be placed interiorly or exteriorly of the existing spinal construct.

  • Patent number: 11065132
Abstract: An expandable device for expanding and supporting body tissue comprises an inferior endplate having an outer surface configured to contact one body tissue surface and a superior endplate having an outer surface configured to contact an opposing body tissue surface. The inferior endplate and the superior endplate are movable relative to each other in a direction of expansion. The device includes an elevator captively supported between the inferior endplate and the superior endplate for independent movement along the direction of expansion. In the first direction the elevator is moved toward said superior endplate to lift the superior endplate and expand the device. In the second direction the elevator moves away from said superior endplate toward said inferior endplate to create a space for insertion of an insert into the expanded device.

  • Patent number: 11013610
Abstract: An expandable anterior lumbar interbody fusion device comprises a multiple piece construction that includes an outer shell, movable upper and lower endplates and a pair of laterally spaced supports therebetween. The endplates are initially nested within the outer shell and telescope through the outer shell when expanded by a secondary instrument. Each endplate includes fixation elements to anchor the expanded device in an intervertebral disc space. Bilateral internal pockets are formed within each of the endplates to fully contain the supports. Once the device is expanded, the supports are pushed into place by the instrument in a manner to maintain the expanded position. After the supports are in place, the expander instrument is removed, and the device remains anchored in the expanded state.

  • Patent number: 10868486
Abstract: An accelerometer and a linear resonant actuator (LRA) are mechanically coupled, such as by being mounted to the same circuit board. The output of the accelerometer is evaluated in order to select a drive frequency for the LRA. For example, the drive frequency may be varied while measuring the magnitude of acceleration induced by the LRA. The output of the accelerometer may further be used to perform a fitness tracking function, such as counting steps or detecting an activity level.
