  • Patent number: 11508133
Abstract: An augmented reality visualizer and measurement system for swimming pool components (e.g., liners and safety covers) is provided in some examples of the present disclosure. In one example, a system can receive images of physical markers positioned spatially around a perimeter of a swimming pool in real space. The system can identify the physical markers in the images by analyzing the images using one or more image processing techniques. The system can determine one or more characteristics of the swimming pool based on relationships between the physical markers. The system can then generate pool component information based on the determined one or more characteristics of the swimming pool, and output the pool component information.

  • Patent number: 11473576
Abstract: A fluid moving apparatus includes an electric motor having a rotor and a stator and a fluid displacement member. The rotor rotates relative to the stator on a common axis to generate a rotational output. The rotational output is provided to the fluid displacement member to power the fluid displacement member to one of move linearly along and rotate about the common axis. The stator includes one or more coils configured to power rotation of the rotor. The one or more coils extend circumferentially around and can be coaxial on the common axis.

  • Publication number: 20220327761
Abstract: Swimming pools can be visualized according to some aspects described herein. In one example, a system can receive a user selection of a particular liner from among a plurality of liner options for a virtual swimming pool. The system can generate a virtual swimming pool having the particular liner. The virtual swimming pool can be a three-dimensional (3D) rendering of a swimming pool with the particular liner. The system can then output the virtual swimming pool for display on a display device.

Abstract: An augmented reality visualizer for swimming pools is described herein. In one example, a system can receive images of a target area for a swimming pool from a camera. The system can generate an augmented reality environment by analyzing the images. The augmented reality environment can include a virtual swimming pool overlaying at least one image of the target area. The system can then output the augmented reality environment on a display for viewing by a user.

  • Publication number: 20220251920
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method for executing an emergency disconnect sequence in shallow water depth includes unlatching a lower marine riser package (LMRP) of a blowout preventer (BOP) from a lower stack of the BOP. The BOP defines a wellbore fluidically coupled to the subsea wellhead. A tubular is disposed within the wellbore. The method further includes shearing the tubular and sealing the wellbore. In response to an indication that a vessel operably coupled to the BOP has failed to keep station, an unlatch sequence and a shear and seal sequence are initiated, such that each sequence occurs at least partially simultaneously. The unlatch sequence includes disconnecting the LMRP from the lower stack, and the shear and seal sequence includes activating the lower stack to shear the tubular in less than about one second and seal the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20220221164
Abstract: A dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) includes an outdoor unit capable of providing a temperature at a set dry bulb temperature and dew point temperature in a wide variety of outdoor air conditions. The DOAS monitors and modulates suction pressure and head pressure in order to maintain a dew point temperature of 45° F. for supplied air. Furthermore, the DOAS includes a hot gas reheat coil, allowing the system to heat the air to 73° F. before supplying the air to a space, even where outdoor air temperature is lower than 73° F. In one embodiment, the DOAS further includes an energy recovery ventilator (ERV) in order to precondition the air to decrease the amount of energy needed to operate the DOAS in some conditions.

  • Publication number: 20210364635
Abstract: A method of calculating ionospheric scintillation includes calculating a motion-corrected perturbation of a GNSS radio signal received by a monitoring device deployed in an oceanic environment. The method includes calculating the ?? using the high rate phase of the GNSS signal adjusted by removing the change in distance between the monitoring device and the GNSS satellite. The calculating the ?? may further include passing the adjusted high rate phase through a high pass filter to remove a drift motion of the monitoring device. The method further includes calculating the S4 through calculating a tilt angle between the antenna of the monitoring device with the GNSS satellite and adjusting the antenna gain through known gain pattern of the antenna. The wave height of the oceanic environment may be calculated by detrending the antenna height to remove low frequency motion when a high rate position of the monitoring device is calculated.

  • Publication number: 20210194943
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for a reporting platform system. The reporting platform system receives a configuration object for an account that defines a format in which communication data associated with the account will be received by the reporting platform system, and a format into which the communication is to be reformatted. The reporting platform system receives a stream of communication data associated with the account and converts the stream of communication data in real-time based on the configuration object for the account. The resulting converted communication data is in the converted format defined by the configuration object. The reporting platform system provides query functionality on the converted communication data.
