  • Publication number: 20230271303
Abstract: A clamping system and method useful in miter edge fabrication. Two separate units, each including a vacuum plate may be placed on separate slabs. The units may be connected with a knuckle that can be rotated to provide connection of the slabs in a variety of angles. The units are vacuum sealed to the slabs. The vacuum plates may include various sections of varied sizes to connect to different sized slabs. When the knuckle is locked, a worm gear will provide for lateral movement, relative the knuckle, to provide precision fitting of slabs.

  • Publication number: 20160210359
Abstract: An optimization engine allows website publishers and other network document publishers to view and navigate statistics and scoring methodologies of a search engine. Publishers may thus gain a better understanding of how their website or network document is scored and how to optimize those documents to increase a search engine score. The user is thus able to navigate the network from the perspective of a search engine, viewing webpages, websites, and links in the same way a search engine would analyze them. Upon making changes to a website or network document, publishers may further request on-demand re-crawling of their website or network document to view changes in the score. Alerts may also be activated by a user to notify the user when certain conditions are met.

  • Patent number: 7813741
Abstract: A system and method for initiating responses to location-based events includes a rules system for applying one or more rules to state/attribute information corresponding to one or more mobile units, to determine if a location-based event has occurred. If it is determined that a location-based event has occurred, a response is provided to one or more location-based services applications. The response can be used by the location-based services applications to provide location-based services, such as email, instant messaging, paging and the like. A state/attribute database can be used with the system and method to store and update the state/attribute information corresponding to the one or more mobile units.
