  • Patent number: 11875420
Abstract: Techniques are described that provide a centralized system to coordinate disparate teams involved in handling various tasks, including, for example, the tasks relating to settling the affairs of an estate. In one described example, such techniques provide a centralized estate resource system (ERS) to create, manage, track, and coordinate task checklists and actions for each of the teams including interactions between teams. The ERS may assign specific personnel within each team to a given estate, send notifications and warnings to appropriate team members when tasks are due or complete, and facilitate messaging between team members to communicate when information is needed or has become available. The ERS may provide updated status and information across teams without violating privacy or security regulations, as may be the case with email, text messages, or voice messages.

  • Publication number: 20220198861
Abstract: An access control system (ACS) captures a screenshot of a portion of a computer display of the ACS, the portion displaying one or more images of an area of interest of the ACS. The ACS detects a face of a person in the captured screenshot. For at least one detected face, the ACS identifies one or more candidate identities based on recognizing the at least one detected face. The ACS then displays, on the computer display, each candidate identity.

  • Patent number: 10949937
Abstract: Techniques are described that provide a centralized system to coordinate the disparate teams involved in settling or reconciling the affairs of a given estate. These techniques provide a centralized estate resource system (ERS) to create, manage, track, and coordinate task checklists and actions for each of the teams including interactions between teams. In addition, the ERS may provide a centralized repository for information, thus avoiding repeated queries for the same information and documents to the decedent's representative.

  • Patent number: 6378909
Abstract: A disconnect/reconnect tool (10) for selectively disconnecting and reconnecting the coupling components of a hose coupling (12). The disconnect/reconnect tool (10) includes a body (28) provided with a threaded bore (36), and a threaded shaft (38) for being threadably received in the threaded bore (36). The threaded shaft (38) defines a proximal end portion which carries a first engaging member (40) for releasably engaging a first coupling component (14) of a hose coupling (12).

  • Patent number: 5147611
Abstract: A heating and targeting laser beam and microscope apparatus optically senses, heats to generate a effluent fluid and chemically analyzes the thermal extract fluid or fluid pyrolyzates from a microscopic particle within a heterogeneous composite sample. A transparent duct-like chamber having a bottom opening is attached to a microscope. A contact surface of the sample is raised to abut against the bottom opening, which encloses the space around the particle and also brings the particle into the common focal plane of the microscope and the converging laser beam(s). This single step avoids the complex separate focusing and sealing steps required by present day techniques.
