    Abstract: A telephone call reception system which infers mental and/or physiological states of callers. Two types of analysis are available, and both types may be used upon the telephone calls. In one type, speech recognition is performed upon the call to generate a text file. Key words are sought in the text file. In the second type, the electrical signal itself is processed, as by a spectral analysis. Information obtained by the two analyses is used to predict the mental or physiological state of the caller.

    Abstract: A water leak detection apparatus comprises a sensor, a control unit and a valve module. The sensor is adapted to be placed below a water line or coupling. The valve module is positioned as far upstream on a water line as possible. The control unit actuates the valve module and an audible alarm when the sensor detects a water leak. The valve module closes a valve positioned along the water line to restrict flow through the water line until the control unit has been manually reset. The control unit also features a trigger button to allow the valve to be manually cycled for cleaning, for instance.

    Abstract: A conveyor apparatus and method for a continuous haulage system and continuous conveyor belt are disclosed for carrying coal or ore. A middle roller and side sliders are connected with substantially flexible linkages on a roller-slider support piece supporting the continuous conveyor belt. Three apertures are positioned on the holding frame to adjust and control the tracking angle at which the support piece receives the continuous conveyor belt. In one aspect, the holding frame is provided by a plurality of floor-supported frame members held in position by belt tension, the holding frame being capable of rapid and efficient extendable, retractable construction in the mine, and wherein substantially flexible connecting linkages are positioned to connect the middle roller and the side slider and to connect the side slider to a holding frame for holding the roller-slider support piece. Rails connecting and hold adjacent frame members in position by press-fit attachment of the rails to the frame members.

    Abstract: A form-fit, disposable liner for a reusable plastic five gallon paint bucket. The liner is a thin, structurally rigid, single piece plastic liner formed by a suitable plastic molding process. The liner includes a cylindrically shaped side wall and a semi-circularly shaped bottom wall that conform to the side wall and bottom wall of the paint bucket. An integral roller landing extends down from a semi-circular shaped top wall at an angle thereto, into a vertically extending planar side wall. The roller landing includes a series of integrally molded ridges that allow a coating product stored in the liner to be loaded into a paint roller. A domed lid is provided that engages with a rim of the liner in a snap-fit engagement to allow the paint product in the liner to be sealed.

Rails connect and hold adjacent frame members in position by press-fit attachment of the rails to the frame members. The rails preferably are quickly rotatable to change the top wearing surface. A top roller for supporting the mined-material-carrying belt includes a combination of rollers formed into a roller combination insert which is quickly replaceable in an underground mine.
