Abstract: An example computing system may operate on episodes stored in an episodic memory using a semantic query language. The semantic query language may associate contextual labels with the data ingested from the data sources. Systems described herein may determine probabilities of an event based on the episodes including previous observations, counts, similarities, anomalies, and causality among many other techniques and methodologies. In some examples, the systems described herein may provide result explanations by providing references to source data pertinent to a given result. The user may provide feedback to the query results and update the semantic query.

Abstract: A method and computer readable medium for a fully integrated IT recommendation system, comprising receiving contextual data comprising information regarding what a user is currently viewing; receiving relational data information regarding the user's previous interaction with an online community related to IT administrators; receiving market view data comprising industry trend information related to IT, the industry particular to the user's industry. The contextual data, the relational data, and the marketing data make up the workflow context. The workflow context is passed to a recommendation engine which evaluates the workflow context and selects one or more of a set of outcomes, the outcome(s) are directly related to the workflow context; and presenting said one or more selected outcomes to said user.

Abstract: An interactive online closed loop marketing system and method for marketing of a technical product or service product to companies and/or users of a plurality of network management systems is provided. A database populated with anonymous aggregate IT asset inventory information, user information, and company information (gathered and aggregated through the network management systems) is queried by a third party to evaluate and analyze the potential market for the technical product or service. The system and method further permit the third party to develop a survey and deliver the survey to users of the network management system via the network management system thereby permitting the third party to further quantify and analyze the potential market opportunity. Additionally, the system and method permit the third party to target advertising for the product or service directly to end users via the network management system while tracking the effectiveness of the advertising campaign.
