  • Patent number: 11761462
Abstract: A solenoid valve assembly has a valve body in which a spool is slidably mounted and operated by a solenoid having a coil. A manifold member has a plurality of flow paths for supplying and discharging pressurized fluid to and from ports of the solenoid valve assembly. An intermediate block is interposed between the valve body and the manifold member. The intermediate block has a plurality of through holes for connecting ports of the manifold member to ports on the valve body. At least one sensor is housed in the intermediate block for sensing at least one of pressure and flow in at least one of the through holes.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 7, 2017
Date of Patent: September 19, 2023
Inventors: Scott Allen Weickel, Enrico De Carolis, Thiago Caetano Ferreira, Pascal Moreau

  • Patent number: 10746201
Abstract: A valve assembly has a valve housing with a hole therein. A valve spool is slidably received directly into the hole of the valve housing with no sleeves or seals interposed therebetween. Preferably, the valve housing and valve spool may be made from hardened stainless steel, preferably hardened 440C stainless steel. Preferably a combination modular housing has an integrally formed manifold section and valve section made by additive manufacturing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 2, 2015
Date of Patent: August 18, 2020
    Assignee: Asco, L.P.

  • Publication number: 20090085000
Abstract: A valve component may include a polyurethane coating electrocoated thereon. The polyurethane coating is a hard, smooth, and lubricious coating that facilitates low frictional engagement with one or more elastomeric seals. To make a valve component with such a coating, the valve component may be electrocoated in an emulsion comprising suspended polyurethane particles while being moved in a predetermined motion.
