  • Publication number: 20080050695
Abstract: A toothbrush body includes a handle connected to a head and bristles projecting from the top of the head. A channel runs longitudinally through the body between a first opening and a second opening such that the first opening is in communication with the second opening through the channel. The channel and the first and second openings are arranged so that a substantially downward running stream of water directed into one of the first opening and the second opening is redirected through the channel and out of the other of the first opening and the second opening to form a fountain. A direction of a flow of the fountain at the other of the first opening and the second opening has an upward component so that a user, i.e., holder of the toothbrush, can easily reach the fountain for oral rinsing.

  • Publication number: 20070262191
Abstract: A paper towel holder is provided having a pad made of foam, rubber or the like for impeding (or resisting) the rotation of a paper towel roll with respect to a user initiated unfurling pull angle. The user pulls upward (i.e., in a direction proximal to the base) to unfurl the paper towel roll with a minimum level of resistance. The user pulls downward (i.e., in a direction distal to the base) to create resistance against the paper towel roll such that the rotation of the roll is slowed or halted to provide a user initiated perfect tear.

  • Publication number: 20070194187
Abstract: A magnetic device is provided for holding paper memos, documents, notices, notes, photos and similar non-magnetic thin sheet materials against a flat or rounded, usually vertically oriented, magnetically attractive surface such as a refrigerator door. It comprises two neodymium disc magnets attached to a steel plate. The entire assembly is encapsulated in silicone rubber. The steel plate serves as a rigid structural splint. The steel plate also serves to focus the magnetic fields of the two magnets, thereby increasing the device's magnetic strength without increasing the size of the magnets.

  • Publication number: 20060176582
Abstract: A magnetic magnifying apparatus for magnifying and highlighting a portion of a document held beneath said magnetic magnifying apparatus includes a lens having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a periphery. A frame surrounds the periphery of the lens and holds the lens relative to the frame such that the portion of the document beneath the magnetic magnifying apparatus is magnified when viewed through the lens. The apparatus further comprises a magnet arranged in a recess defined in a bottom surface of the frame for securing the apparatus and the document to an underlying magnetically attractive surface.

  • Publication number: 20050276164
Abstract: A digital watch is provided having a viewing display for displaying images and including an orientation sensing module for sensing angular movement of the watch relative to at least one axis of rotation and a control module for rotating the image displayed on the viewing display to maintain the presentation of an image in a substantially constant upright orientation when directed (angled) toward a primary or secondary viewing person(s). As the user alters the orientation of the watch face, the tilt sensor(s) detects the change in device orientation. These changes in orientation are used to reorient the image being displayed on the viewing display of the watch.

  • Publication number: 20050155974
Abstract: A vessel with a bottom adapted to fit snugly over the cap of a capped miniature (50 ml) bottle is provided. The vessel possesses the traditional martini flare, transforming a mini-bottle into a sophisticated martini glass upon assembly. The mini-bottle serves as the assembled martini glass's stem and may do so as either an empty bottle or a filled reserve. A second, open bottomed version of the present invention is also provided for permitting the contents of the bottle to enter the vessel and be consumed by the user. The funnel like vessel attaches to the top of an uncapped bottle to form an integrated drinking cup.
