The generating the index may include: determining a plurality of observations based on the plurality of records, an observation including a device identifier and time-and-geolocation data for a record of the plurality of records; encoding the plurality of observations into a plurality of spacetime hashes; and forming a search data structure of the index for a plurality of key values based on the plurality of spacetime hashes, wherein the search data structure groups subsets of the plurality of spacetime hashes.

Abstract: A carbon fiber rock bolt including: an outer carbon fiber rope including a series of tow fibers; and an inner core material. As the tension on the rock bolt increases beyond a predetermined limit, the inner core material undergoes a spatial compression, whilst the angle of twist in the carbon fiber rope strands decreases, resulting in extension of the carbon fiber rock bolt, replicating the ductility seen in steel rock bolts.

Abstract: Aspects of securely assigning new authorized users to networked equipment for the purposes of gaining entry into that equipment or accessing valuable data from that equipment are addressed. High security access key fobs are assigned to individual users and serve as proxies for their identities. A new user creation fob or other secure two-factor authentication method is used to verify the identity of a newly enrolled or newly modified user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for streaming of a video game process executing on the streaming source device, whose graphics and audio are captured and transmitted over the network connection to a streaming sink device, which renders and plays them for consumption by the user. The streaming sink device captures the user's inputs and transmits them over the peer to peer network connection to the streaming sink device, which sends them to the video game process. These processes allow the user to see, hear, and interact with the video game session from the streaming sink device, even though the video game process is executed on the streaming source device.

Abstract: A specimen retrieval system includes a bag having a flexible basket with an opening configured for receiving a tissue specimen, an elongate tail extending from the flexible basket, a primary loop attached to a proximal end of the tail opposite the flexible basket, and a string encircling the flexible basket and extending therefrom along the tail and terminating exterior of the proximal end of the tail, the string being operable to close the opening of the flexible basket. The system also includes an outer cannula having a distal end and a proximal end with a cannula handle located at the proximal end of the outer cannula, the outer cannula configured to receive the bag therein via the distal end of the outer cannula, with the tail of the bag, the primary loop and a portion of the string extending out of the proximal end of the outer cannula.

Abstract: A smart vend motor is described which may be deployed in a standard snack and candy vending machine, a coin and bill dispensing machine, or the like. Each smart vending motor has a local smart control able to determine if its corresponding smart vending motor has been selected for energization from a signal sent to multiple vend motors. This smart controller can also control operation of multiple additional devices, such as LEDs to light products, consumer information displays, and product drop detectors. In some applications, vending of multiple vend motors at the same time is supported.

In one example embodiment, a method for headstart restore of a first volume to a second volume may include invalidating, on disk, a boot segment of a volume boot record of the second volume, storing headstart restore information in the second volume, while the boot segment of the volume boot record of the second volume remains invalidated, writing data from one or more backups of the first volume to a data segment of the second volume, removing the headstart restore information from the second volume, and revalidating, on disk, the boot segment of the volume boot record of the second volume.

Abstract: A readily reconfigureable cash dispensing system for providing change, such as coins of different values and bills or currency of different denominations needed by a retail store, grocery store, busy convenience store, or the like. A tray or trays for storing and delivering multiple rolls of coins or bills of a first value, as well as, a tray or trays for storing and delivering stacks of bills are described herein. A bill acceptor may be employed to accept bills used to purchase rolls of coins and stacks of bills, and a system controller can sense restocking and dispensing events to maintain an accurate inventory of cash in the bill acceptor, as well as, the total cash stored in the form of coin rolls or rolls bills, as well as, bill stacks.

In one example embodiment, a method for cataloging file system-level changes to a source storage between image backups of the source storage may include obtaining first file system metadata (FSM) associated with a first image backup of the source storage that represents a first point in time, obtaining second FSM associated with a second image backup of the source storage that represents a second point in time, identifying a set of blocks that changed in the source storage between the first point in time and the second point in time, analyzing the set of blocks, the first FSM, and the second FSM, and cataloging files and/or directories that changed in the source storage between the first point in time and the second point in time based on the analyzing.
