Patent number: 11044322Abstract: This disclosure is directed to embodiments of systems and methods for tracking sessions of a user. A session manager executing on a server may establish a plurality of sessions with a web application for a user via a web socket of the session manager. The plurality of sessions may share a first session identifier. The session manager may track, by via a web socket container established for the first session identifier, the plurality of sessions. The session manager may detect a log off by the user from one of the plurality of sessions. The session manager may send a log off event to others of the plurality of sessions tracked via the web socket container, responsive to the detection.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2020Date of Patent: June 22, 2021Assignee: Citrix Systems, Inc.Inventor: Kenneth Scott Bowden

Patent number: 10348701Abstract: Described embodiments protect clients from open redirect security vulnerabilities in Web applications. A primary application receives a request for an operation to be performed on behalf of a secondary application. The request includes a return location parameter containing i) a return location, and ii) an encrypted portion. After completing the requested operation, the primary application retrieves the return location parameter and a cryptographic key uniquely associated with the secondary application. The primary application decrypts the encrypted portion of the return location parameter to generate a decrypted value, and uses the decrypted value to validate the return location contained in the return location parameter. The primary application transmits a redirect message to the client that causes the client to be redirected to the return location contained in the return location parameter only in response to the return location being successfully validated based on the decrypted value.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2017Date of Patent: July 9, 2019Assignee: Citrix Systems, Inc.Inventors: Javier Alejandro Figueroa, Kenneth Scott Bowden

Patent number: 8342388Abstract: A wrapper for wrapping on a roll of length L having two opposed roll ends is described. The wrapper comprises an interior layer of a length Wi and of an interior layer basis weight, adapted to be adjacent the roll when the wrapper is wrapped on the roll; an exterior layer of a length We longer than the length Wi of the interior layer forming at least one end strip of width S and of an exterior layer basis weight, adapted to be outside of the roll when the wrapper is wrapped on the roll. The interior layer basis weight is different from the exterior layer basis weight. The end strip of the exterior layer is adapted to be folded on a corresponding one of the roll ends during crimping following wrapping of the wrapper on the roll.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2007Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignee: Cascades Conversion, Inc.Inventors: Michel Labbe, Richard Scott Bowden

Patent number: 8117682Abstract: A toilet cleaning device employs a handheld dispensing device having an internal barrier with a channel and an orifice. Water passing through the dispensing device is compelled to flow through the orifice in the barrier. An external trigger located at the handle section of the dispensing device is coupled to a shuttle which can slide in a channel and control water flowing through the orifice. A cleaning agent in the form of solid, water soluble pellets is loaded in a cavity in a barrel section of the dispensing device and then contained by attaching a nosepiece to the barrel. An elongated outlet tube cantilevered from the nosepiece has a proximal section and an obliquely angled distal section and can dispense all water flowing therethrough in a single concentrated stream into a toilet. A hose can connect the dispensing device to a supply line for a toilet. A holster mounted at the toilet can hold the dispensing device.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2007Date of Patent: February 21, 2012Inventor: Andrew Scott Bowden

Patent number: 4450021Abstract: A unique fabrication method allows the formation of regions of opposite conductivity types in a semiconductor substrate 100 utilizing a single masking step. A first mask is formed on the surface of the semiconductor substrate and patterned to define the regions (110) which are to be doped to a first conductivity type. Subsequent to the doping of these first regions, a protective layer (111) is formed over these first regions. The mask is then removed, thus exposing the regions (112) which are to be doped to the second conductivity type opposite to said first conductivity type. These exposed regions are then doped to said opposite conductivity type, with the first regions which have been doped to said first conductivity type protected by said protective layer.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 1982Date of Patent: May 22, 1984Assignee: American Microsystems, IncorporatedInventors: Tarsaim L.
