  • Publication number: 20250177244
Abstract: A therapeutic device. The therapeutic device includes a first vibration contact configured to be in mechanical communication with a first location of the body of a subject. A first vibrator is connected to the first vibration contact and configured to cause a first vibration at the first vibration contact. A second vibration contact is configured to be in mechanical communication with a second location of the body of the subject. A second vibrator is connected to the second vibration contact and configured to cause a second vibration at the second vibration contact. The second vibration has a different frequency than the first vibration resulting in a low frequency, inferential, traveling wave within the subject that propagates to the subject's head.

  • Publication number: 20250161154
Abstract: A therapeutic device. The therapeutic device includes a unified seat and/or a top shell and a bottom shell. A first vibrator is connected to a first portion of the unified seat and is configured to cause a first vibration at the first portion of the unified seat. A second vibrator is connected to a second portion of the unified seat and is configured to cause a second vibration at the second portion of the unified seat. The second vibration has a different frequency than the first vibration resulting in a low frequency traveling wave that propagates to a patient's head.

  • Patent number: 12226361
Abstract: A system and method adapted to introduce vibrational waves into a body of a subject includes first and second vibration contacts and first and second vibration sources. The system and method are useful for the relief and symptoms of distress including pain and anxiety and more specifically to addiction withdrawal.

  • Publication number: 20220183925
Abstract: This patent relates to the field of peripheral sensorimotor stimulation for the relief of symptoms and physical signs of distress including pain and anxiety and more specifically to addiction withdrawal. Peripheral stimulation of mechanoreceptors has been showed in a unique amplitude and frequency range to induce central effects of release of dopamine with a prolonged duration beyond stimulation in a model of addiction. Such stimulation can serve as an effective bridge during withdrawal from known addicting substances, including chemicals and behaviors, thus mitigating symptoms and potentially facilitating the cessation of drugs or substance seeking behavior. Interferential beat frequencies can be induced into the body using separately located sources of vibration to localize maxima and minima of stimulation.
