  • Patent number: 12368227
Abstract: A wireless parking meter with an improved antenna location is described. The antenna may be located within a covering protruding from the top of the parking meter, allowing radio frequency (RF) signals to be transmitted through a portion of the parking meter with high permittivity to the RF signals. Additionally or alternatively, the antenna may be located within the parking meter housing above a lower parking meter mechanism housing so that RF signals can be transmitted through the dome covering of the parking meter, which may have a high permittivity to the RF signals.

  • Patent number: 12350472
Abstract: An injection system can have a Syringe Dose and Position Apparatus (SDPA) mounted to a syringe. The SDPA can have one or more circuit boards. The SDPA can include one or more sensors for determining information about an injection procedure, such as the dose measurement, injection location, and the like. The SDPA can also include a power management board, which can be a separate board than a board mounted with the sensors. The syringe can also include a light source in the needle. Light emitted from the light source can be detected by light detectors inside a training apparatus configured to receive the injection. The syringe can have a power source for powering the sensors and the light source. The SDPA and the power source can be mounted to the syringe flange.

  • Publication number: 20250186957
Abstract: A mixture of a fuel and an oxidant is flowed into a rotating detonation engine defining a longitudinal axis and having an outer body and an inner body spaced from the outer body to thereby define an annular combustion chamber. The fuel is combusted in the presence of the oxidant in the annular combustion chamber so as to generate a detonation wave that rotates in the combustion chamber around the longitudinal axis and produces one or more combustion products that flow out of the rotating detonation engine. The one or more combustion products are mixed with a feedstock so as to decompose the feedstock.

  • Patent number: 12199999
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing flow specification (Flowspec) messages to one or more of a plurality of customer networks by a controller device coupled to the plurality of customer networks. Preferably a network controller monitors network traffic flowing through each of the customer networks for detecting a network attack in one of the plurality of customer networks, via monitoring of the network traffic. Upon detection of a network attack, a Flowspec message is generated for the customer network detected to be under network attack wherein the Flowspec message is configured specifically for that customer network. The generated Flowspec message is transmitted to the customer network detected to be under network attack for implementation by the customer network for mitigation of the detected network attack.
