  • Patent number: 10252740
Abstract: In some examples, a ski bike includes a frame, a steering mechanism rotatably coupled to the frame, a ski, and a ski retention system. The ski retention system rotatably couples the ski to the frame or the steering mechanism. The ski retention system includes a ski bracket and a fixed member. The ski bracket is rigidly coupled to the ski. The fixed member is rigidly coupled to the frame or the steering mechanism and rotatably coupled to the ski bracket.

  • Publication number: 20070000026
Abstract: The “Dew Hat” has on the flaps (tails) on the top inside and outside of it, velcro strips. At the same time, we have also placed velcro strips to the inside and outside back rim of the baseball hat, on the left and right of the adjustment strap. The main purpose of this utility patent is to enable the owner to use the baseball hat in three manners. One way is with the thin flaps out to cover the back neck portion of the user. Secondly, is to enable the user to roll up the material and attach to the velcro strips hat. Thirdly, if the user wishes, because the material is so thin, (made of satin or thin material), to velcro the rolled up tails (flaps) to the inside of the back rim of the baseball hat, the user can then place the baseball cap on backwards (or forward again). This look is very popular. Please note. The baseball hats come in two versions—adjustable strap and no adjustable strap. The “Dew Hat” attachment is applicable to both types of baseball hats.

  • Patent number: 4908740
Abstract: An integral composite structure having predetermined electrically conductive networks on a non-conductive planar or non-planar support structure produced by the combination of a slurry of electrically conductive materials having a fluid carrier which includes an evaporative fluid and an elastomeric substance in which particles of an electrically conductive material are contained, the fluid carrier being chemically reactive with the material forming the relatively non-conductive support structure to secure one to the other, and upon evaporation of the evaporative portion of the fluid carrier, the unevaporated portion of the slurry formed of the elastomeric substance and the electrically conductive particles form a solid which is both flexible and electrically conductive and a method for producing same, including the steps of introducing the slurry into a container, the container having at least a portion of the wall forming the container consisting of an elastomeric material having at least one normally closed

  • Patent number: 3954160
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a disc brake assembly and more particularly to a combined hydraulic and mechanical brake assembly which includes a manually actuated brake for applying the disc brake pads to the disc for both parking and emergency purposes and means to automatically adjust the brake in response to brake pad wear, including a lever-actuated, reciprocating plunger having a tapered nose disposed within an tubular expander having a series of annular teeth thereabout, wherein the expander is freely disposed within a hydraulically operable piston slidably disposed within a cylinder. When the plunger nose is directed into engagement with the fingers, the fingers are radially expanded into meshing engagement with a second series of teeth disposed about the inside of the piston. Once engaged, further axial movement of the plunger carries the piston-operated brake pads into frictional engagement with the brake disc.
