  • Patent number: 11549339
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of cleaning and inspection of drilling mud carrying flow lines, each flow line having an inner surface. The method includes affixing a fitting to the flow line, the fitting having a main flow channel and a branch flow channel extending at an angle from said main flow channel. A first end portion of the fitting can have an attachment that enables connection of the fitting to the flow line at one flow line end portion. A second end portion of the fitting can have one or more doors that can be moved between opened and closed positions, the door or doors providing an opening that is not closed when the doors are in the closed position. A suction line can be connected to the branch flow channel. A cleaning tool can be guided first into the fitting and then into the flow line using a fluid carrying cable. The cleaning tool and jetting fluid can be used to clean drilling mud and debris from the inner surface of the flow line.

  • Patent number: 11334169
Abstract: Systems and methods detect simple user gestures to enable selection of portions of segmented content, such as text, displayed on a display. Gestures may include finger (such as thumb) flicks or swipes as well as flicks of the handheld device itself. The used finger does not occlude the selected text, allowing users to easily see what the selection is at any time during the content selection process. In addition, the swipe or flick gestures can be performed by a non-dominant finger such as a thumb, allowing users to hold the device and make the selection using only one hand. After making the initial selection of a target portion of the content, to extend the selection, for example to the right, the user simply swipes or flicks the finger over the touchscreen to the right. The user could also flick the entire device in a move gesture with one hand.

  • Patent number: 11264130
Abstract: To prevent the spread of hospital-acquired infections, embodiments described herein monitor mobile device usage in clinical settings (by a physician, nurse, etc.) to characterize potential pathogenic contamination of the mobile device, the user's hands, and the surfaces in contact with the device. Our method considers the physical properties of how the device is handled and held during use, as well as the location and setting before, during, and after use to estimate potential contamination and transmission of pathogens. A system can use the estimation, along with knowledge (e.g., of the user's upcoming schedule) to alert them of potential contamination hazards and suggest when to avoid mobile device use as well as when to sanitize the device and user's hands.

Abstract: In various examples, a header of an implantable device includes a first header portion and a second header portion at least partially disengageable from the first header portion. In a closed configuration, the first header portion is fully engaged with the second header portion, and in an open configuration, the first header portion is at least partially disengaged from the second header portion. At least one bore within the header is sized and shaped to accommodate a proximal end of a lead. The bore is split substantially longitudinally to form a first bore portion and a second bore portion. With the proximal end of the lead disposed within the bore and a positioning feature interacting with a lead feature, at least one lead contact aligns with at least one header contact to allow the at least one lead contact to electrically couple to the at least one header contact.
