Publication number: 20180271276Abstract: An adjustable roller assembly for a household appliance includes a mounting base, an adjustable foot, and a height adjusting ring. The mounting base is configured to attach to a household appliance. The adjustable foot is configured to slidably engage the mounting base, and the height adjusting ring is configured to threadably engage the adjustable foot. Based at least on a rotation of the height adjusting ring, the height adjusting ring is configured to adjust a position of the adjustable foot relative to the mounting base to at least one of raise and lower a household appliance relative to the adjustable foot. A household appliance including an adjustable roller assembly is also provided as are methods of assembling an adjustable roller assembly in a household appliance.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2017Publication date: September 27, 2018Inventors: Scott Chartrand, Jeremy Bannister

Publication number: 20170198962Abstract: A cabinet includes a shell having a top wall and first and second side walls extending substantially perpendicular from the top wall. The cabinet further includes a first compartment liner defining a first storage compartment. The cabinet further includes upper and lower support members provided on opposite sides of the first compartment liner and extending substantially parallel to the top wall. The cabinet further includes a first vertical support bar secured to the upper and lower support members that extends substantially parallel to the first and second side walls and between the first compartment liner and the first side wall. The cabinet further includes a second vertical support bar secured to the upper and lower support members that extends substantially parallel to the first and second side walls and between the first compartment liner and the second side wall. The first and second vertical support bars have an L-shaped cross-section.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2016Publication date: July 13, 2017Inventors: Scott Chartrand, Jeremy Bannister

Patent number: 8099936Abstract: A flail mower assembly includes a deck having a shaft rotatably connected to the deck. A flail drum is connected to the shaft and is co-rotatable with the shaft. A plurality of flail blade assemblies is independently rotatably connected to the flail drum to provide two degrees of freedom-of-rotation of each of the plurality of flail blade assemblies independent of a direction of drum rotation. First and/or second electric motors are connected to the deck and rotatably connected to the shaft. The shaft is rotated by an energized one of the first or second electric motors or both energized simultaneously. A load connected to the first and second electric motors when the first and second electric motors are de-energized reduces a rotational velocity of the flail drum.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2009Date of Patent: January 24, 2012Assignee: Textron Innovations Inc.Inventors: Christian Stanton Carver Bryant, Scott Chartrand, Carlos A. Bellot, Harry L. Derby, V

Patent number: 7854293Abstract: A riding mower assembly may include a mower frame, first and second wheels, and a steering assembly. The steering assembly may include a steering frame member fixed to the mower frame, a first steering arm rotatably coupled to a first end of the steering frame member and having the first wheel coupled thereto, a second steering arm rotatably coupled to a second end of the steering frame member and having the second wheel coupled thereto, an actuation mechanism, and a cross-member. The actuation mechanism may include a first end coupled to the steering frame member and a second end coupled to the first steering arm. The actuation mechanism may include a motor having an actuation arm extending therefrom that rotates the first steering arm. The cross-member may have a first end coupled to the first steering arm and a second end coupled to the second steering arm.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2008Date of Patent: December 21, 2010Assignee: Textron Innovations Inc.Inventors: Harry L.
