  • Publication number: 20240016234
Abstract: Methods of manufacturing a tubular garment using a knitting machine having a first knitting bed and a second knitting bed are disclosed. An embodiment of the method includes knitting a first fabric panel in the first knitting bed and knitting a second fabric panel in the second knitting bed. The first fabric panel and the second fabric panel being joined to define a first tubular portion of the tubular garment. The method includes temporarily transferring the first fabric panel from the first knitting bed to the second knitting bed and knitting a third fabric panel in the first knitting bed. The method includes joining the third fabric panel to the first fabric panel to define a second tubular portion of the tubular garment. The method includes disposing an electrically conductive bus through the second tubular portion for electrical communication with at least one conductive yarn integrated within the tubular garment.

  • Patent number: 9575801
Abstract: The disclosure is related to systems and methods of using a data storage device's processing power to perform mathematical operations on data within a data storage device. The mathematical operation may be done independently of a host system and the data storage device may provide a calculated result to the host system instead of providing stored data. In a particular embodiment, the data storage device may perform a convolution operation on data received from a host, compare the result of the convolution operation to data comprising a set of potential matches previously stored on the data storage device, and select at least one of the set of potential matches to provide as a result to the host.

  • Publication number: 20070131412
Abstract: A mass isolation joint for electrically isolating a downhole tool includes a first joint section having a distal end in which a first thread is formed, a second joint section, and an insulating composite structure coupling the first joint section to the second joint section, wherein at least one of the first and second joint sections is adapted for coupling to the downhole tool. The insulating composite structure includes a first composite layer formed on the second joint section. The first composite layer has a second thread which engages the first thread on the distal end of the first joint section.

  • Publication number: 20060192562
Abstract: An electromagnetic logging tool is disclosed that includes a support; and at least one four-coil array disposed on the support, wherein the at least one four-coil array comprises: a transmitter, a bucking coil, a receiver, and a trim coil. A method for balancing an induction array is disclosed that includes applying an alternating current to a transmitter of the induction array that comprises the transmitter, a bucking coil and a receiver; measuring a mutual coupling between the transmitter and the receiver; and adding an extra bucking coil, if the mutual coupling exceeds a selected criterion.

  • Publication number: 20060192561
Abstract: An electromagnetic logging tool includes a support configured for disposal in a well; at least one antenna mounted on the support; and a plurality of coils mounted on the support proximate the at least one antenna, wherein the plurality of the coils are configured for selective connection with the at least one antenna. A methods for balancing an induction array on an electromagnetic logging tool includes measuring a mutual coupling between a transmitter and a receiver on the electromagnetic logging tool; and selectively connecting a subset of a plurality of coils on the electromagnetic logging tool to the transmitter or the receiver based on the measured mutual coupling.
