Abstract: The disclosure relates to compositions and methods for altering, e.g., enhancing, the expression of GCase proteins, whether in vitro and/or in vivo. Such compositions include delivery of an adeno-associated viral (AAV) particle. The compositions and methods of the present disclosure are useful in the treatment of subjects diagnosed with, or suspected of having Parkinson Disease or related condition resulting from a deficiency in the quantity and/or function of GBA gene product or associated with decreased expression or protein levels of GCase protein.

Abstract: A crop bale ejecting method comprising: opening a baler tailgate to a first position; ejecting the bale from the chamber; reducing/stopping rearward momentum of the bale; moving the tailgate to a second position not in contact with the bale; moving the baler forward; and closing the tailgate. Reducing/stopping the bale momentum comprises one or more of: opening the tailgate to the first position and stopping at the first tailgate position with the bale contacting the tailgate then moving the tailgate to the second position; opening the tailgate at a reduced speed to the first position then opening the tailgate at an increased speed to the second position after the tailgate clears the bale, and positioning a tailgate ramp horizontally or inclined downward in the forward direction to receive the bale as the bale ejects from the baling chamber. A crop baler configured to perform the method is also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to crystallizing a chemical substance(s) using ultrasound. Methods are provided for screening a chemical substance according to its solid forms by using ultrasound to generate new or unusual solid forms. Methods are also provided for crystallizing a chemical substance by novel techniques that include sonication. The present disclosure also relates to cocrystallization using ultrasound. Methods are provided for preparing cocrystals of an active agent and a guest by sonicating and crystallizing. Methods are also provided for screening a sample according to solid state phases (such as cocrystals and salts) and include generating a cocrystal from the sample using ultrasound.

Abstract: Methods for preparing cocrystals wherein solutions of active agents in suitable liquids are combined with solutions of guests, both with and without suitable liquids, in an interface region are described herein. Methods for analyzing the cocrystals are also described.
