  • Patent number: 11224080
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for facilitating a discreet connection between a user and a service. A system includes a service for a user to connect to without any detectable direct contact with the service. A first reverse proxy connection is configured to receive a connection from the user to set up the discreet connection, where an invitation indicating a mechanism for accessing the first reverse proxy connection is provided to the user. Access credentials are transmitted to the user over the first reverse proxy connection, the access credentials including an address for accessing a second reverse proxy connection, the first reverse proxy connection being deleted following delivery of the access credentials. The second reverse proxy connection facilitates the discreet connection between the user and the service without any detectable direct contact with the service.

  • Patent number: 11035768
Abstract: In a nitrogen generator, multiple, concurrent gas pressure monitors constantly and simultaneously monitor gas pressures at key points in the nitrogen generation process, and a controller generates an alarm when the pressure at any point falls below a respective predetermined pressure level, and remains there for longer than a respective predetermined duration. In some embodiments, a run time of the nitrogen separation unit is additionally monitored. Additionally, in some embodiments, if the output pressure of nitrogen gas falls below a predetermined pressure level, a bypass route is activated to route compressed air directly to the output, thus sacrificing nitrogen gas purity but maintaining required minimum pressure for downstream systems.

  • Patent number: 10940332
Abstract: A monitor for pulsed high energy radiation therapy using a radiation beam passing through a treatment zone, the radiation of 0.2 MEV or greater; has a camera for imaging Cherenkov light from the treatment zone; apparatus for preventing interference by room lighting, the camera synchronized to pulses of the radiation beam; and an image processor adapted to determine extent of the beam area on the patient skin from the images. Additionally an image processor determines cumulative skin dose in the treatment zone from the images. In embodiments, the processor uses a three-dimensional model of a subject to determine mapping of image intensity in images of Cherenkov light to radiation intensity in skin, applies the mapping to images of Cherenkov light to verify skin dose delivered, and accumulates skin dose by summing the maps of skin dose.

  • Publication number: 20200101336
Abstract: A dual air vent assembly for wet pipe fire protection sprinkler systems allows air or gas to vent from system pipes as they fill, without spilling any water into the fire-protected environment, even if an air vent valve, operative to discharge air or gas but not fluid, fails. A shut-off valve is upstream of the first air vent valve, and a reservoir is downstream of it. Small amounts of water that escape the first air vent valve are collected in the downstream reservoir, and evaporate. The reservoir also collects fluid if the first air vent valve fails. In response to fluid in the reservoir at or above a predetermined level, the shut-off valve is actuated to arrest the flow of fluid into the first air vent valve. No water escapes the assembly, even if the first air vent valve fails. The shut-off valve may be electronically or mechanically actuated.

  • Patent number: 10201718
Abstract: A system for providing monitored radiation therapy has a high energy radiation source, apparatus for excluding uncontrolled ambient light, and apparatus for collecting light emitted from a subject. The system has apparatus for spectrally analyzing the collected light, and a processor for determining oxygenation or other metabolic function of tissue within the subject from spectral analysis of the collected light. The system monitors radiation therapy by providing a beam of high energy radiation; collecting Cherenkov and/or photoluminescent light from the subject, the light generated along the beam; spectrally analyzing the light; and determining oxygenation or metabolic function of tissue from the spectral analysis. Beam profile of the system is calibrated by imaging from multiple angles Cherenkov and/or photoluminescent light emitted by a phantom placed in the beam in lieu of a subject, captured images are analyzed to determine beam profile.
