  • Publication number: 20060224943
Abstract: A method and system to publish content for at least one remote electronic device are provided. The method may include providing a content provider with an interface to directly provide content for publishing by a content publishing system and automatically ingesting the content into the content publishing system. Thereafter, the content may automatically be made available to the remote electronic device. The content may be made available via a wireless data network (e.g., a cellular telephone network) to a plurality mobile devices (e.g., cellular telephones). As the media assets can be automatically ingested and automatically published, the content provided can directly publish content without further human intervention. Media assets may be added to a folder utilizing a drag-and-drop action or cut-and-paste action facilitated by an computer operating system. A control file including policy data and a metadata file may be associated with each media asset file.

  • Patent number: 6884734
Abstract: A blocking layer is formed on a hard mask having an initial thickness. Lines are fabricated by patterning the blocking layer and the hard mask to provide a line segment, the line segment having a first dimension measured across the line segment; reacting a surface layer of the line segment to form a layer of a reaction product on a remaining portion of the line segment; and removing the reaction product without attacking the remaining portion of the line segment and without attacking the blocking layer and the substrate to form the line segment with a second dimension across the line segment that is smaller than the first dimension. The blocking layer prevents the formation of reaction product on the hard mask so that the initial thickness of the hard mask is maintained. The blocking layer can also serve as an ARC layer for photoresist patterning so that the use of an additional film layer is not required.

  • Patent number: 6395587
Abstract: A semiconductor device having a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) structure includes a field-effect transistor having amorphized source and drain regions formed by implanting silicon or germanium ions into a silicon layer formed over a buried insulator. The fully amorphized source and drain regions ultimately result in permanent crystalline defects that cause p-n junction leakage which allows charge in the body of the device to dissipate, thereby improving the overall efficiency and performance of the device. The source and drain regions are amorphized throughout their entire thickness to prevent single crystal re-crystallization from occurring during annealing and other subsequent processing steps that can degrade the quality of the p-n leakage junctions.
