  • Publication number: 20220348246
Abstract: Various embodiments of a collapsible stroller configured to form at least a compact collapsed configuration are described. In some embodiments, the collapsible stroller includes a foldable frame assembly including a top frame pivotably coupled to a bottom frame such that the top frame is allowed to pivot along a longitudinal plane of the foldable frame assembly. The foldable frame assembly can include first strut assemblies pivotably coupled to the bottom frame at respective angled joints. The angled joints can each include a first axis of rotation that is angled relative to the longitudinal plane such that the strut assemblies pivot towards the longitudinal plane as the top frame pivots towards the bottom frame for forming the collapsed configuration. In some embodiments, the foldable frame assembly further includes a suspension system that also can pivot towards the longitudinal plane when the foldable frame assembly forms the collapsed configuration.

  • Publication number: 20100297898
Abstract: A wakeboard binding assembly includes a binding base and an outersole. The binding base is adapted to attach both to the wakeboard, and an upper of the binding. The outersole is designed to surround the periphery of the binding base and cover the area of attachment between the binding base and the binding upper. The attachment of the upper to the binding base eliminates the need to use hardware and fasteners for attachment of the upper to the wakeboard.

  • Publication number: 20080038968
Abstract: A toe piece for a wakeboard binding employs two different materials. The bulk of the toe piece is made from a first material having a certain degree of elasticity. A remaining portion of the toe piece as side portions are made from a material that is more elastic than the first material. This enables an upper portion of the toe piece to move or flex more with respect to the lower portion so that entry of a foot into the binding or out of the binding is easier.

  • Publication number: 20070131919
Abstract: A picket fence assembly is provided which includes uniquely configured pickets which facilitate fast and easy construction of a picket fence without the need for additional mechanical fasteners. In one embodiment, the picket fence includes non-circular pickets, a first horizontal member and a second horizontal member. The first and second horizontal members include openings configured to receive respective pickets. Each picket includes at least one notch positioned to align with a respective opening in one of the first and second horizontal members. The notch facilitates rotation of the picket in relation to the one horizontal member to axially secure the vertical picket to the one horizontal member. The opening in the other horizontal member is oriented to non-rotatably receive the picket member after it has been secured to the one horizontal member. A method of assembling a picket fence assembly is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060288557
Abstract: The present invention discloses a lace end assembly having a male end connector and a female end connector. The lace end assembly uses an integrated magnet in one connector that interacts with another magnet in the other connector to couple the connectors. The male end connector is adapted to retain a knotted end of a pair of laces, such as found in a wakeboard binding. The female end connector is mounted on the wakeboard binding. The male end connector includes a protrusion that houses a first magnet. The female end connector includes a body portion that houses a second magnet. The female end connector also includes a cavity. The cavity receives the male end connector to allow the magnet to align and link magnetically, thus securing the lace ends to the binding.

  • Publication number: 20060014450
Abstract: A toe and heel piece for a wakeboard binding are formed as free standing three dimensional shapes prior to binding assembly. The toe piece has a center body portion that extends from a front edge to a rear edge, the body center body portion including a curvature that approximates the curvature between the top part of the user's foot and a shin part of the user's leg. The toe piece also has a pair of opposing flaps, each flap curving downward from the center body portion. The flaps can terminate in a flange, and the toe piece can include means for binding it to hardware of the wakeboard. The heel piece tapers in width from a bottom portion to a top portion, and is molded to follow the contour of the user's of calf, ankle, and/or heel.

  • Patent number: 6945837
Abstract: A wakeboard binding plate assembly includes a disc and ring. The disc is sized to fit within the opening of the ring, with each of the disc and ring including irregular surfaces, respectively positioned to engage each other. The disc is mounted to a portion of a boot assembly of the wakeboard. The ring is adapted to be fastened to a wakeboard, with the disc held in place between the disc and a boot assembly for the wakeboard, engagement between the irregular surfaces of the disc and the ring preventing rotation of the disc. Loosening the ring allows the disc to rotate so that the boot assembly can be easily moved to a desired alignment.
