  • Publication number: 20190281812
Abstract: A ladder stand includes a ladder, a platform, an optional seat, a tree engagement bracket, straps and strap diverter guides. The straps can be crisscrossed around the rear of the tree and extend forwardly to respective strap diverter guides. These guides can redirect the straps from a generally acute angle relative to the ladder to an orientation substantially parallel to the ladder, with the lower portions of the straps extending downwardly along the ladder. One or more tensioners can provide tension in the straps, thereby pulling the bracket into the tree under significant force to provide safe and stable securement of the ladder stand to the tree. The strap tensioning can be accomplished by a user on the ground, without ever having to climb the ladder or secure any additional straps to the tree. A related method of use is provided.

  • Publication number: 20170099830
Abstract: A nestable ladder tree stand assembly is shown that may be used for hunting from an elevated position. The ladder tree stand includes a platform that may support a hunter and may be attached to the elevated position. First and second ladder segments are also included, with one of the ladder segments being connectable to the platform. Each ladder segment includes two support pillars that have top ends spaced apart at a first distance and that have bottom ends spaced apart at a second distance that is different from the first distance. At least one horizontal support beam extends between the support pillars. The first distance of a second ladder segment is substantially equal to the second distance of a first ladder segment, and the bottom ends of the support pillars of the first ladder segment are connectable to the top ends of the support pillars of the second ladder segment.

  • Patent number: 8839772
Abstract: An accessory mounting system for mounting a first object to a second object is provided. The system can be used to mount a quiver to an archery bow, or an archery or hunting accessory. The system can include a primary element having a projection that fits into an aperture defined by a secondary element. The secondary element can include a base, an engagement member and an actuator. The base can define at least a portion of an aperture. To the base, the engagement member can be moveably mounted to clampingly engage the projection when in the aperture. The actuator can be configured to actuate the engagement member, thereby fixedly mounting the secondary element to the projection. A related method of use also is provided.

  • Patent number: 7650899
Abstract: A camouflage cover for equipping an outdoor enclosure with three-dimensional nature effects includes a plurality of elongated nature-effect strands that drape over the enclosure in a substantially vertical arrangement. The vine-like nature-effect strands help conceal hard lines and corners of the enclosure structure. The cover may include adjustment straps that allow a single cover to adapt to a number of enclosure structures. The adjustment straps, where used, may include interwoven cords and cord locks for adjusting tension of the straps. The nature-effect strands may have different camouflage patterns so that an enclosure can have an appropriate camouflage scheme no matter what season or environment. Tiebacks may optionally be used to permit horizontal adjustment of the nature-effect strands, in order to prevent allow free access to windows and doorways. Auxiliary loops may also be provided to allow attachment of additional nature effects by a user.

  • Patent number: 7594514
Abstract: A concealment system includes one or more independently positionable masking panels. Each of the panels is independently supported by a hub and strut frame, and employs various interchangeable camouflage sheet materials. A polygonal perimeter strip has strut-engaging pockets thereon with a pocket located at each corner of the panel, and structure for mounting a masking panel thereon. Dual ball mount are attached to a platform and to a base portion of the frame hub, respectively. A positioning arm, having independently adjustable socket clamps, extends between the two ball mount to support the panel frame. An improved hub design eliminates guide channels therein, and employs cabling to attach the struts. The positioning arm has a single span with socket clamps permanently attached to each end so that each clamp can be independently adjusted.
