  • Patent number: 10836520
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method and system for collecting data from multiple measuring points within equipment. Once collected, the data may be consolidated and stored in a database remotely. The data may then be used to optimize system performance either locally or across facilities. Such optimization may include determining the proper handling of packages of objects, such as eggs, that are not ideally marked or that are not properly packed. Such optimization may also include the resetting and/or recalibrating of laser systems within one or more facilities based on the data collected.

  • Publication number: 20160243850
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method and system for applying markings on a food product in such a manner to form a permanent marking thereon. The markings may include text, graphics, images, other types of indicia, and any combination thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the markings include freshness information, traceability data, historical processing information, other types of relevant source information, or any combination thereof. The markings are applied by any suitable marking device known in the art, such as laser-based or ink-based technologies. The source information is stored in memory, such as cloud-based memory, for later use, such as production planning, product recalls, other commercial and regulatory purposes, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20160227743
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method and system for monitoring and managing food product processing operations and animal growing, housing, and farming operations and facilities. The food products or animals and related housing and feed are examined and/or analyzed with respect to the quality and integrity of the processing thereof, any markings applied thereto, and compliance with commercial, regulatory, or customer requirements. The environmental conditions, processing conditions, the processing performance parameters, and the like, or any combination thereof, are thereafter subjected to documentation and also may be adjusted in response to such examination, including and up to automated cessation of production.

  • Publication number: 20160219907
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method and system for applying markings on a food product in such a manner to form a permanent marking thereon. The markings include text and graphics, and are suitably an advertisement, sponsored images, other promotional information, or any combination thereof. The markings may further include freshness information, traceability data, or other types of relevant information, or any combination thereof. The markings are applied by any suitable marking device known in the art, such as laser-based or ink-based technologies. The method preferably forms the markings on the food product while the product moves through a predetermined region of a food processing system.

  • Patent number: 7316344
Abstract: A divided storage system is formed of a collapsible container and a collapsible divided file assembly. The container includes a planar blank having a centrally-located bottom panel with four side portions, four side panels each foldably attached to a respective one side portion and movable to a position perpendicular to the bottom panel fasteners are carried by each side panel for attaching the side panels together to define an interior space. The file assembly includes files each locatable adjacent to the side panel and removably attachable thereto. The file assembly includes a plurality of file dividers located between the first and second files and are connected via accordion pleats. The first and second files include outwardly extending tabs with passageways therethrough and are attached to the container by being sandwiched between the respective end and side panel at each of the four corners of the assembled container.

  • Patent number: 7305677
Abstract: A transfer of runtime-based application code is described. According to one embodiment of the invention, the application code includes an application code segment. An application code segment tag identifies the application code segment. The application code segment is sent via a messaging protocol to a first server that processes the application code and returns the results.

  • Patent number: 7024969
Abstract: The modular wrench with extendible shank includes at least one stubby wrench head segment having either an open end or a box end wrench head, and a truncated shank extending from the wrench head. A short connector sleeve having sockets defined in both ends that frictionally receive the truncated shank of the wrench head segment is provided so that two wrench heads may be attached to opposite ends of the sleeve to form an open end wrench, a box end wrench, or a combination wrench of standard size. Two elongated extension bars, e.g., a six-inch and a ten-inch bar, are provided, each extension bar having a stub projecting from one end that frictionally fits into the connector sleeve, and a socket defined in the opposite end that frictionally receives either the truncated shank of the wrench head or the stub of the other extension bar.

  • Patent number: 6567474
Abstract: A system for communicating signals between a transmitter and a receiver using digital modulation techniques is provided. This invention is particularly adapted to meet the requirements of power line communication. In one preferred embodiment of this invention the modulation technique is differential binary phase shift key modulation. This system provides a low cost, simple delay and multiply process for the modulation and demodulation of data. This system lends itself to an ASIC implementation, thereby further reducing the cost of the system while improving the reliability of the system in a noisy environment.

  • Patent number: 6436589
Abstract: This invention includes a reticle used for making a semiconductor device in a photolithography process. The reticle has a device exposure region having sides and a device pattern within an area defined by the sides, an opaque chrome region disposed adjacent to the device region, and a kerf region surrounded by the opaque chrome region, the kerf region being offset from the sides of the device exposure region by the opaque chrome region. The reticle should facilitate a double exposure method of a photolithography process by interleaving adjacent exposures of a wafer during the photolithography process, while allowing the single exposure of the respective kerfs.
