  • Publication number: 20250199090
Abstract: A series arc detection system is configured to detect series arcs in an input current waveform includes a power input circuit configured to receive an input current waveform and a controller. The controller includes a power monitoring module and is configured detect series arc currents in the input current waveform by performing feature recognition on the input current waveform using a neural network to detect one or more features that may be indicative of arcing. The controller is also configured to produce a score for the input current waveform based on the detected features and report the score to a user based on a comparison of the score to a programmable threshold.

  • Patent number: 12248034
Abstract: A faulty meter socket detection system configured to detect faulty sockets as evidenced by series arcs in an input current waveform or an increased temperature of the meter is disclosed. The system includes a metering circuit configured to receive an input current waveform, and a controller including a power monitoring module. The meter may also include a temperature sensor. The power monitoring module is configured detect series arc currents input current waveform data by filtering the input current waveform data to produce filtered data, performing feature recognition on the filtered data, classifying the features of the filtered data, performing temporal processing on the filtered data, (optionally) scaling the temporal processing of the filtered data, and, scoring the input current waveform based on the temporal processing of the filtered data. The temperature sensor may detect an increased temperature of the meter, which may indicate a faulty socket.

  • Patent number: 12101514
Abstract: An illustrative interactive content provider system transmits a live video stream to an interactive content player device, and, during the transmitting of the live video stream, provides an executable data object to the interactive content player device. The executable data object includes an interactive content instance configured to be presented within a 3D virtual playing area that bounds at least one virtual object of the interactive content instance. The interactive content provider system directs the interactive content player device to execute the executable data object by overlaying the 3D virtual playing area of the interactive content instance onto a presentation of the live video stream. Corresponding methods and systems are disclosed for both the interactive content provider system and the interactive content player device.

  • Patent number: 11871208
Abstract: An illustrative application executing on a first device establishes a first network connection between the first device and a collaboration platform server managing a set of components for a collaboration platform providing voice communication services with respect to a virtual space. Using the first network connection, the application: 1) sets a first location within the virtual space at which a first voice component is positioned, and 2) determines a second location within the virtual space at which a second voice component is positioned. The application receives, by way of a second network connection between the first and second devices, audio data representing voice communication originating at the second device. Based on the first and second locations, the application generates a spatialized rendering of the audio data for presentation to a user. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11184647
Abstract: An illustrative interactive content delivery system includes an interactive content player device (player device) and an interactive content provider system (provider system). As the provider system transmits a live video stream to the player device, the player device detects a first event marker in the live video stream, accesses an executable data object including data representative of an interactive content instance, and executes, based on the executable data object, the interactive content instance in accordance with interactive input provided by a user of the player device. During the executing of the interactive content instance, the player device detects a second event marker in the live video stream and subsequently discontinues the executing of the interactive content instance. Corresponding methods and systems are disclosed for both the provider system and the player device of the interactive content delivery system.

  • Publication number: 20160077501
Abstract: A device comprises a processing unit, a network interface configured to enable communications in a network, and a machine-readable medium that stores instructions executable by the processing unit. The instructions are configured to cause the processing unit to receive, from a controller device in the network, information for operating in one or more states associated with collecting data, and to operate in a first state based on the information. Operating in the first state includes controlling a first sensor coupled to the device for collecting first sensor data at a first sampling rate, executing a first trigger, and determining an output of the first trigger. The output of the first trigger is based on the first sensor data. Based on the output of the first trigger, a determination is made whether to remain in the first state, or switch to a different state.

  • Patent number: 9271170
Abstract: A source node in a network accesses information associated with a set of available transmission states. The source node selects a first transmission state from the set of available transmission states. The source node evaluates a metric associated with transmitting the data. The source node determines whether the metric is below a threshold value. Based on determining that the metric is below the threshold value, the source node selects a second transmission state from the set of available transmission states, the second transmission state being different from the first transmission state. The source node transmits data using the second transmission state.
