  • Publication number: 20240153349
Abstract: Peer-to-peer wagering is provided to customers matched over an interactive gaming network. A customer can match to another customer to play a gaming match of a video game over a gaming server or network. The two customers can access a wager portal with which to place a wager on the outcome of their gaming match. The customers agree to a wager over the gaming match via the wager portal. The wager includes a wager amount. The customers can each provide the wager amount to the wager portal. The customers can proceed with playing the gaming match. The wager portal monitors the match outcome by connecting to the gaming server to determine the outcome. The wager portal determines which customer won the gaming match and therefore won the wager. The wager portal transfers the wager amounts to the winning customer or customer account.

  • Publication number: 20240070316
Abstract: Techniques for a privacy-based user data sharing protocol disclose a system that receives a request to consent to share user data with a subscriber device. The system identifies, based on the request, a smart contract associated with the subscriber device. The smart contract comprises one or more conditions for collecting and managing the user data. The system generates a token based on the smart contract, in which the token indicates consent by a user to share the user data with the subscriber device according to the one or more conditions. The system records the generated token to a blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11708883
Abstract: An apparatus for applying a force or action directed at interacting with or stopping a mechanism, or diverting an object. The apparatus includes a motor, a pusher, a drive shaft, and a retainer. The motor provides the force or action. The drive shaft is coupled to the motor and fitted within the pusher, and the pusher plate is coupled to the motor, with the pusher being fitted within the retainer. The pusher plate comprises an anti-rotation feature that prevents the pusher from rotating and converts the rotation motion of the drive shaft into a linear motion whereby the pusher is pushed out of the retainer, such as to engage, interact with or stop the mechanism. The pusher may be variously configured, such as in the form of a drive nut, ball assembly or roller assembly.

  • Patent number: 11602870
Abstract: A bulk roll cutting apparatus with a safety linkage is used to prevent inadvertent gravitational falls of a blade. The apparatus has a frame holding the blade, the blade is movable between a cutting position and a retracted position. In the cutting position, the blade is positioned proximate to an arbor. At least one link arm is movably connected to the frame. An actuator connects between the at least one link arm and the blade. An adjustment device connects between the at least one link arm and the frame. The adjustment device controls a cutting depth of the blade relative to the arbor. A safety linkage connects between the at least one link arm and the frame, and the safety linkage prevents an inadvertent gravitational fall of the blade.
