Abstract: A smart chair and logging/warning assembly are disclosed. In some implementations, the smart chair includes a base arranged to receive a sitter, a sensor, and a transmitter. The sensor can be located within the base. Additionally, the sensor can take initial readings relating to the sitter on the chair for reference. Further, the sensor can take readings of the sitter while they are sitting and transmit information relating to the sitter's sitting to a computational device.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for extending chat capabilities of traditional computer-to-computer chat systems to mobile devices. As will be generally understood, chat sessions typically allow users and chat agents to type and send/receive messages through a chat system. According to one aspect, such a mobile consumer messaging system (MCMS) utilizes existing mobile communication channels to interface with existing traditional chat systems. Specifically, in various embodiments of the MCMS, chat agents using existing, traditional chat systems are able to participate in chat sessions with end users through the users' mobile devices without specific modifications to the existing chat system. Further, according to one embodiment, chat agents utilize a single chat platform to participate in chat sessions with end users through the end users' mobile devices as well as with various other users utilizing a traditional chat system on a computer.

By navigating through web pages displayed to the user by the web browser, the user is able to extract contact information from the information database for a particular person, display organizational charts and provide updates to communication devices. In addition, the contact information system can access Internet sites to obtain services such as providing maps and driving directions to users based on the contact information for the particular person.

Abstract: News stories are rendered to readers across non-homogenous computer networks. RSS files are used to provide references to rendering files that define how a news story is to be rendered. The actual data of the news story is identified from information in the RSS file. The RSS file is not changed. An application renders a news story by locating an RSS file containing data related to the news story. Using this data, the application locates a data file containing the actual news story data. Because an application accesses the actual news story data file, the payload problem associated with RSS is overcome without changing the structure of RSS files.
