Based on various signal inputs from a plurality of data sources, a tachometer may be dynamically modified to include visual information and assistance to the driver in relation to the vehicle's engine speed (i.e., revolution speed of the vehicle's crankshaft). The tachometer may include one or a combination of: dynamic shift point indicators, a target engine speed range indicator, an overspeed indicator, and a power take-off mode indicator.

    Abstract: A camera module includes a housing with an opening and a portion that surrounds the opening, wherein the portion of the housing is transparent to near infrared (NIR) light. A fisheye lens is disposed within the opening such that a portion of the fisheye lens protrudes through the opening. An image sensor is disposed within the housing and optically coupled to the fisheye lens. The image sensor is sensitive to visible light and NIR light. A plurality of NIR light emitters is disposed within the housing. The NIR light emitters are configured to emit NIR light through the NIR-transparent portion of the housing. The NIR-transparent portion of the housing may include a light-diffusing structure, such as a pattern of microlenses formed on an inner surface of the NIR-transparent portion of the housing, to spread out the NIR light emitted by the NIR light emitters.

The instrument cluster may be dynamically updated to display the driving-context-relevant information when the contextual state is detected.

Lift axle status data may be graphically represented by a lift axle indicator dynamically provided in a shared notification/messaging space positioned within the driver's line of sight during a lift axle transition. The lift axle indicator may include a side-view representation of the vehicle including a plurality of axle sections indicating the status of each axle. The lift axle indicator may be suppressed when air pressure is stabilized. Additionally, a graphical representation of data associated with statuses (e.g., air pressure, temperature) of each tire may be provided in a top-down view representation of the vehicle including its associated tire/axle configuration and the tire pressure for each tire. The graphical representation may be configured to reflect the correct number of axles and tires per position, and may further include a tractor versus trailer designation.

A first carrier input lead projects from the first package body side and is spaced from the first group of input-side leads by an input-side isolation gap, which has a width exceeding the intra-group lead spacing. Similarly, a first carrier output lead projects from the second package body side, is laterally aligned with the first carrier input lead, and is separated from the first group of output-side leads by an output-side isolation gap.

The driver can easily scroll between the various content views while driving. The instrument cluster may alternatively be shown in a favorites view, amongst a plurality of preconfigured favorites views associated with different drivers, the favorites view including a user-selected set of gauges in a user-selected layout. A steering wheel-based shortcut control is provided that can be assigned to a changeable parameter and used to toggle the parameter in association with an instrument cluster display element while driving.
