  • Publication number: 20200284017
Abstract: A unique seal cap is used for pressure testing waste and drain pipes prior to the wax free installation of a toilet. The disclosed seal cap artfully fits over a toilet flange without interfering with the subsequent configuration and wax free installation of a toilet. The seal cup system also stores new caps that are uniquely threaded to avoid dangerous and unsightly screws or protruding traditional screw caps. The disclosed screw cap systems provide a first or inner cap having centrally disposed inner threads to secure a toilet to a flange. The first or inner caps also have outwardly facing threads at the outer circumference, enabling the attachment of outer caps that are more bulbous than the caps of the prior art, with the disclosed outer caps being safer, having a less pointed protrusion.

  • Patent number: 8739328
Abstract: A drain stopper assembly for selectively opening and closing a drain located within a basin, tub or sink, the drain having an opening within said basin, tub or sink for facilitating the selective passage of water there through and past its drain collar and drain body. A stopper is provided being selectively sealable on said drain collar allowing selective passage of water. The stopper is mechanically positioned within the drain body by a scooper end in mechanical communication with a lifting rod being actable from a position exterior to the drain body for selective raising and lowering of the scooper end wherein lowering the scooper end causes the stopper to seat upon the drain collar and raising the scooper causes the stopper to separate from the drain collar.

  • Publication number: 20100138985
Abstract: An offset grid drain closure assembly including a drain strainer disposed in the drain hole of a basin, a vertically movable stopper member disposed beneath the strainer and having structure complementary to the opening or openings in the strainer, and a gasket disposed immediately underneath the strainer member and having a matching opening pattern. The stopper is operably connected to an actuation device such that when actuated, the stopper is lowered downwardly from the gasket underneath the strainer or raised to approximate the gasket so as to close the strainer. The drain closure thus provides fluid tight closure of a drain with no elevated surfaces in the bottom of the fluid containing basin, either when closed or when opened.

  • Publication number: 20040075220
Abstract: A unitary removable barrier for installation in a cylindrical water line to selectively block the water line to passage of water therethrough. The unitary removable barrier is composed of a single piece rubber body having at least one cylindrical section sized to receive upstream and downstream pipes of the water line. A unitary rubber planar disc molded with the cylindrical section is of a circular circumference and which completely blocks the water line but which is selectively removable from the cylindrical section thus removing the barrier to the passage of the waste through the line.
