  • Patent number: 11920637
Abstract: A method includes disposing a first shaft and a second shaft in an end to end arrangement, positioning a sleeve over the end to end arrangement, coupling the sleeve to the first shaft via a first set of fasteners extending through a first set of radial holes in the sleeve and into the first shaft, coupling the sleeve to the second shaft via a second set of fasteners extending through a second set of radial holes in the sleeve and into the second shaft, and allowing the sleeve to self adjust the alignment between the first shaft and the second shaft while transmitting torsional, translational, or torsional and translational loading through the first set of fasteners and the second set of fasteners.

  • Patent number: 11644107
Abstract: A flow control device includes a valve body, a first port disposed on the valve body, a second port disposed on the valve body, a gate disposed within the valve body and configured to control a flow of a fluid between the first port and the second port, and a seat disposed between the gate and the valve body, the seat including a first surface configured to form a circumferential seal with the valve body and a second surface configured to form a face seal with the gate. A method includes receiving, by a sealing assembly forming a circumferential seal between a seat and a valve body, a first force from a collar disposed on the seat in response to a first movement of a gate, and moving, in response to receiving the first force, the sealing assembly in a first direction of the first force.

  • Publication number: 20210239241
Abstract: An adjustable pipe spool includes an outer body, an inner body at least partially disposed within the outer body, an adjustment ring rotationally coupled to the inner body, a lock ring rotationally coupled to the outer body and engaging the adjustment ring, a rotation key maintained within the outer body by the lock ring, the rotation key extending into a slot in the inner body. The inner body is axially translatable with respect to the outer body between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration, and the inner body is rotationally adjustable with respect to the outer body in the extended configuration.
