Abstract: A pet tag silencer capable of enclosing pet tags without the necessity of removing a pet's collar or tags is constructed of non-rigid, weather-resistant material adaptable to be secured to conventional pet collars. Stretchable enclosures and/or self-attaching material means are used to enclose rigid metal and/or plastic pet tags so as to prevent such pet tags from undesired rattling, thus facilitating quiet enjoyment of pets at night, on walks or jogs through neighborhoods, on hunting occasions and at dog shows.
