Patent number: 12680213Abstract: A washing apparatus having an apparatus base, and a housing carried by the apparatus base. At least three feet are attached to the apparatus base, and an activatable foot is disposed opposite the at least three feet. The activatable foot is a spring-loaded foot that, when released, is pushed downward such that the foot engages with the floor. The activatable foot is attached to a leg that is movable within a cavity of the housing. A locking cam engages the leg and ensures that there is sufficient frictional engagement between the leg and a sidewall of the cavity such that during use of the washing apparatus, the activatable foot does not move up/down when engaged with the floor. The washing apparatus, when in use, is level and stabilized while the locking cam is engaged with the leg which helps to reduce vibration and noise.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2024Date of Patent: July 14, 2026Assignee: The Procter & Gamble CompanyInventors: Jason Matthew Orndorff, Matthew Stephen Bauer, Hua Hu, Scott Eugene Mizer, Kerry Lloyd Weaver

Patent number: 12000078Abstract: A laundry treatment apparatus including a base, a tub, and a drum rotatable relative to the tub about an axis of rotation that is within 20 degrees of horizontal. The axis of rotation is in a sagittal plane of the drum. The apparatus further includes a detergent container receptacle and a fabric softener container receptacle. The detergent container receptacle is further away from the sagittal plane than the fabric softener container receptacle. The laundry treatment apparatus optionally includes a heater that is optionally elevationally higher than the axis of rotation and the sagittal plane is optionally between the detergent container receptacle and at least a portion of the heater.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2021Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: The Procter & Gamble CompanyInventors: Scott Eugene Mizer, Corey Elizabeth DeRossett, Carlos Amador Zamarreno

Patent number: 11702790Abstract: A laundry treatment apparatus including a plurality of swivel casters. Two of the swivel casters are braked swivel casters. One of the swivel casters other than the braked swivel casters is a vertically adjustable swivel caster. The braked swivel casters restrain translational movement of the laundry treatment apparatus across a floor. The vertically adjustable swivel caster can help fix the position of the laundry treatment apparatus so as to restrain rocking and twisting of the laundry treatment apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: November 19, 2021Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: The Procter & Gamble CompanyInventors: Clifford Theodore Papsdorf, Scott Eugene Mizer, Mark Neil Howdyshell
