Publication number: 20240070378Abstract: The disclosure is directed to systems and techniques for executing a documentation application displaying a graphical user interface having an editable field configured to receive textual input. The system receives a first portion of a textual input in the editable field, which includes a command character designating the first portion of the textual input as a link insertion command. The system receives a second portion of textual input in the editable field and, before entry of the textual input is complete, the system analyzes the second portion of the textual input to identify an external platform service. The system then accesses, using an application programming interface, first hosted data hosted by the external platform service. The first hosted data may be displayed in line with the textual input and used to generate a complete link path. Once complete, the link path is replaced with a selectable graphical object that is operable, when selected, to redirect the user to the external platform service.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 6, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Scott Farquhar, Jonathan George Katahanas, Abhinav Kishore, Cornelis Jacobus Alant, Vijay Suresh Sutrave

Publication number: 20220405094Abstract: A frontend of a platform of a multiplatform system can be monitored for user input. Upon receiving a user input that includes particular content, a data object describing the context in which the user input was provided may be created. One or more automations may be selected from an automation database based on a similarity to the determined context. The selected automations can be automatically displayed for the user, thereby encouraging the user to leverage automations across multiple platforms without requiring the user to switch between different platforms and without requiring the user to learn or understand platform-specific automation engines.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2021Publication date: December 22, 2022Inventors: Scott Farquhar, Jonathan George Katahanas, Abhinav Kishore, Cornelis Jacobus Alant, John Duncan

Publication number: 20170147972Abstract: A business method and system for executing the method that involves gathering merchandise orders at a show in the home of a hostess. The method compiles the merchandise orders while maintaining a relationship between each individual order and information pertaining to the guest making the order. The guest information maintains an association with the order throughout the method such that each order made at the show may be individually packaged and labeled, obviating the need for the hostess to sort the ordered items upon receiving them from a warehouse. The system stores records of all purchased items and maintains a running inventory of each item, accessible by the consultants so they may warn customers of potentially low inventories. The database also facilitates returns and exchanges of purchased items.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 26, 2017Publication date: May 25, 2017Applicant: CAbi, LLCInventors: Kimberly Inskeep, Scott Farquhar

Publication number: 20060036536Abstract: Systems and methods may be utilized to obtain and evaluate data from various information resources associated with a diagnostic testing business for the purpose of identifying at-risk clients. A set of risk indicators is defined. Each risk indicator relates to a type of event that is determined to be indicative of client risk, and about which data may be obtained from information resources associated with the testing process. Data is obtained from the various information resources through respective interfaces and is stored in a risk indicator database. A reporting application associated with the risk indicator database applies score generation rules to the risk indicator data associated with each risk indicator to generate a risk score associated with each risk indicator for each client. The risk scores may then be evaluated to identify at-risk clients and to identify systemic problems of the organization that occur across many clients.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 11, 2005Publication date: February 16, 2006Inventors: William Williams, Denise Cottrill, Scott Farquhar, Gary Mahoski, Katha Raulston, Kathe Russell
