  • Patent number: 11982586
Abstract: A method is provided for collecting measurement parameters related to imbalance forces of a tire/hub assembly of a vehicle during motion of the vehicle. An apparatus is removably attached to the tire/hub assembly of the vehicle via lug nuts of the tire/hub assembly. The apparatus includes a disk, a plurality of cup-shaped objects, and one or more inertial measurement units (IMU's) mounted to the disk. Each of the cup-shaped objects are rigidly fixed at one end to the disk and extend perpendicularly outward from the disk. The plurality of cup-shaped objects are arranged a fixed radial distance from a radial center of the disk in a pattern that matches the lug nuts of the tire/hub assembly. The one or more inertial measurement units (IMU's) are mounted to the disk and configured to measure parameters that are used for calculating the imbalance forces during motion of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10748461
Abstract: A vehicle curb with advertising system including a bottom panel that is connected to a lower curved panel which is then connected to an upper curved panel. These panels distribute axial and translational forces, imparted by the vehicle's tires, by taking advantage of corrugation and curved designs. Further, the upper curved panel is connected to an upper retaining lip, which is then connected to a front concave panel, which is then connected to a lower front retaining lip. The two retaining lips contact the vehicle's tires and together with the concave panel, distribute the externally applied forces throughout the system. Further, the two front retaining lips provide an attaching means for a user to attach a logo or advertisement to the system. The system also has pads connected to the bottom panel that resist the externally applied forces by “gripping” the underlying floor, thus effectively stopping the vehicle without slippage.

  • Patent number: 7351003
Abstract: A vehicle barrier advertisement system comprising a vehicle parking barrier having a lower face member, a spaced-apart top face member, with a vertical portion extending from the lower face and angularly oriented spaced-apart grooves for insertion of one or more advertisement indicia sheets, and removable end caps. Illumination of the advertisement sheet is also provided using an AC or DC power source.

  • Patent number: 6692182
Abstract: A vehicle barrier/advertisement system comprising a vehicle parking barrier has a front face and a rear face and an upper surface there between and a pair of end surfaces. The barrier has a generally horizontal lower surface positionable on a parking surface. A coupling means is to secure the parking barrier to the parking surface. A thin barrier cover has a front face and a rear face and an upper surface there between. The cover has a generally horizontal lower opening with lower edges positionable adjacent to the parking surface, the cover being sized and shaped to be securely positioned over the vehicle parking barrier. An advertisement sheet has an interior surface positioned with respect to one face of the cover, the sheet also having an exterior surface with advertising indicia thereon. An additional coupling means secures the cover to the barrier.

  • Patent number: 6481921
Abstract: A vehicle barrier/advertisement system comprises a thin barrier cover. The barrier cover has a vertical front face and a vertical rear face and a horizontal upper face and a pair of angled intermediate faces there between. The barrier cover also has a pair of end faces. The cover has a generally horizontal lower opening. The cover is sized and shaped to be securely positioned over a vehicle parking barrier. An advertisement sheet has an interior surface. The interior surface is positioned with respect to an angled intermediate face of the cover. The sheet also has an exterior surface with advertising indicia there on. A plurality of straps assist in holding the cover to the barrier.
