  • Patent number: 11552725
Abstract: A base station can select orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) numerologies that define subcarrier spacing values based on attributes associated with one or more services that a user equipment (UE) is using. The base station can use the selected OFDM numerologies for transmission associated with the services. When the UE is using multiple services simultaneously, the base station can select the same or different OFDM numerologies for the multiple services.

  • Publication number: 20230005078
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program code for determining a tax incentive for an employer. A set of cards is displayed on the storyboard interface. Each card is related to a particular criterion for determining and eligibility of the employer for the tax incentive. In response to receiving a selection of a particular card, a set of modal windows, including a set of data fields that are relevant to a particular criterion, is displayed on the storyboard interface. Information for the employer is identified that is relevant to the particular criterion. The set of data fields it is populated based on a portion of the information. A tax incentive amount is calculated based on the portion of the information. A document it is generated for claiming the tax incentive. The document includes the portion of the employer information and the incentive amount.

  • Publication number: 20220403001
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to tunable biocircuit systems for the development of controlled and/or regulated therapeutic systems. In particular, regulatable biocircuits containing destabilizing domains (DD) derived from mutant human cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) are disclosed. Especially, the present disclosure provides an effector module. Such effector module may include (a) a stimulus response element (SRE), wherein the SRE is a DD, said DD comprising at least one mutation relative to cGMP-specific 3?,5?-cyclic phosphodiesterase (hPDE5; SEQ ID NO: 1) and (b) at least one payload, which is attached, appended or associated with said SRE. The SRE may be responsive to one or more stimuli.

  • Publication number: 20220404175
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to sensing a position of a surface proximate to a resonant LC sensor. One example provides a method on a sensing device comprising one or more resonant LC sensors each configured to output a signal responsive to a position of a surface proximate to the resonant LC sensor. The method comprises, for each LC sensor, generating an oscillating signal on an antenna of the resonant LC sensor and detecting a near-field response of the resonant LC sensor at a selected frequency.

  • Publication number: 20220388821
Abstract: A lift assembly including a platform movable to a raised position, a lowered position, and an intermediate position between the raised and lowered positions. A scissor arm system defines a cavity beneath the platform. The scissor arm system includes a pair of scissor arms pivotably connected to each other. The scissor arm system has opposed first and second ends with the first ends of the scissor arm system being coupled to the platform. A stanchion guides the platform between the raised and lowered positions. The stanchion extends from a first stanchion end to a second stanchion end above the first stanchion end. A drive mechanism is mounted to the platform to move with the platform. A flexible member is coupled to the stanchion and the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism winds and unwinds the flexible member to move the platform between the raised and lowered positions.

  • Publication number: 20220394717
Abstract: An electronic device configured to operate in two frequency bands having significantly different coverage areas receives coordinates associated with a smaller coverage area over a frequency band having a larger coverage area. The coordinates allow the electronic device to only power up the associated radio and search for a base station of the smaller coverage area when the electronic device is in the area described by the coordinates. This allows the electronic device to achieve significant power savings compared to even infrequent random polling to determine when a base station of the smaller coverage area radio system is available.

  • Patent number: 11516752
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for reducing processing time of messages that are repeatedly received, with increasing frequency, by a device (e.g., user equipment, base station etc.). For example, the systems and methods would have a base station decrease power, possibly to minimum power-out, per policy, if messages beyond the original are received and the time between those messages is decreasing. The decrease in time between messages indicates a more urgent need for the base station to power down. The systems and methods can be adapted for different types of messages (e.g., power-up, power-down, resource request, bandwidth request, service type, call type origination, quality-of-service request, application type, etc.). Each message type is associated with a policy (pre-determined or adaptive) that indicates the default behavior when the method detects a decrease in time between messages.

In one example, a mixed reality computing device comprises an image sensor, a remote input device, a processor, and storage comprising stored instructions. The stored instructions are executable by the processor to perform object motion tracking and environmental tracking based on output from the image sensor, and in response to detecting that the remote input device is in use, adjust a parameter of the motion tracking while maintaining the environmental tracking.

  • Publication number: 20220198538
Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling access to resources. Receiving, at a server from user devices, requests associated with a resource. Transmitting, by the server to the user devices, tickets associated with the requests, each ticket associated with a respective one of a plurality of groups, the groups identifying requests received in successive windows of time. Receiving, at the server from one of the user devices, a subsequent request, the subsequent request identifying one of the tickets previously transmitted to that user device. • Publication number: 20220191651
Abstract: Systems and methods for registering a location tracking device affixed to an item or other merchandise with a cellular or mobile network provider associated with the purchaser are described herein. In some cases, user equipment in physical proximity to the location tracking device may establish a connection with the location tracking device to facilitate the registration process between the network provider and the location tracking device. Once the registration is complete, the location tracking device may establish a direct connection with the cellular or mobile network of the network provider such that the network provider is able to monitor the location of the location tracking device.

  • Publication number: 20220191172
Abstract: A system for web traffic control is provided that is based on information related to a user's previous online activity. In one embodiment, the system is able to collect information about incoming traffic, compare the information to a generated ruleset, and make and implement a decision about how to handle each request/user interaction. In one embodiment, the ruleset is based on e-commerce rules. An e-commerce rule is a unit of decision making logic based on the user's previous online activity on the e-commerce platform, e.g. “If request is to add an item to user's cart, and if user already added something to their cart less than one second ago, then block request”. In some embodiments, the rules may be executed at the firewall and/or in a web application on the e-commerce platform. In some embodiments, one or more rules may be recommended to a merchant.

  • Publication number: 20220116186
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices can be utilized to schedule at least one Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) transmission and at least one HARQ feedback message in the same Physical Resource Block (PRB). A HARQ transmission can be scheduled in a mini-slot of the PRB. Accordingly, latencies associated with transmitting and receiving the PRB can be reduced, while the high reliability of HARQ can be retained. Implementations can be applied to 5G technologies such as Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communications (URLLCs) and enhanced Mobile BroadBand (eMBB), as well as other low-latency communications. A method can include determining a location of a device; selecting, based at least in part on the location of the device, a mini-slot size; scheduling, in one or more mini-slots having the mini-slot size in a PRB, a HARQ transmission; and transmitting, to the device, the HARQ transmission in the one or more mini-slots of the PRB.
