  • Publication number: 20240384815
Abstract: Disclosed in this publication are channel mount fixings for the stacked mounting of elongated articles. In one implementation, a channel mount fixing includes a body section, a mount, and an object support. The body section is configured to position an elongated article adjacent to a workpiece. The mount is configured to attach to the workpiece. The object support is configured to support the article. The object support and body section define a channel therebetween that is configured to receive the article. The object support includes a block, a stand-off member, and a retainer arm. The block is configured to attach to the article via a cable tie and defines a cable tie pass-thru therethrough that is configured to receive the cable tie. The stand-off member is configured to space the block apart from the body section. The retainer arm is configured to retain the article in the channel.

  • Publication number: 20240388072
Abstract: A channel routing entrance and exit is provided by a channel insert component that enables the passing of one or more elongated objects into or out of a channel. The channel insert component includes an opening configured to receive the one or more elongated objects. The opening is defined by one or more radiused edges that mitigate abrasion of the one or more elongated objects. The channel insert component also includes a notch configured to detachably secure the channel insert component to a protrusion of the channel. The channel insert component also includes a gap along the opening disposed between one or more cantilevers that are flexible from an initial shape to widen the gap, enabling the one or more elongated objects to fit through the gap into the opening.

  • Publication number: 20240271652
Abstract: This document describes fixings with visual installation status indicators. In aspects, the fixings may provide a user with a visual cue that indicates an installation status of the fixing, for example, an incomplete installation status or a complete installation status. In an aspect, a fixing is configured for attaching to a support structure at a bore defined in the support structure. The fixing includes a mount fastener configured for longitudinal insertion into the bore, a body section that extends from the mount fastener, and at least one visual indicator configured to indicate an installation status of the fixing to a user. The body section is configured to contact a first side of the support structure to limit the longitudinal insertion of the mount fastener into the bore.

  • Patent number: 7047778
Abstract: In some embodiments, lock assemblies are disclosed which have a housing, a barrel, and at least one tumbler. In some cases, the lock is codeable after the lock assembly has been assembled. Although not required, some embodiments can be re-coded to a new code with and without disassembling the lock assembly. The tumbler(s) can be pivotable, while in other embodiments the tumbler(s) move in a substantially linear fashion. The tumbler(s) can be comprised of two pieces or portions, wherein one piece/portion of the tumbler(s) either directly or indirectly engages the coded surface of a key while the other piece/portion is positionable to prevent rotation of the barrel with respect to the housing. In some embodiments, the tumblers are external to the barrel.
