  • Publication number: 20220131479
Abstract: A test system includes a frame. A hydraulic actuator is mounted to the frame and is configured to support a test specimen. A piezoelectric actuator is configured to apply a force to the test specimen. A controller is configured to excite the piezoelectric actuator and provide an indication of force generated by the piezoelectric actuator by measurement of current or charge provided to the piezoelectric actuator.

  • Publication number: 20210222053
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for use in oil and gas operations comprising prepackaging, in a packaging container, two or more dry components to form a dry composition, wherein the two or more dry components comprise a polyacrylamide friction reducer (FR) polymer, and wherein the dry composition comprises a predetermined ratio of the two or more dry components, transporting the packaging container to a wellsite, removing all or a portion of the dry composition from the packaging container and mixing the all or a portion of the dry composition with an aqueous fluid to form a wellbore servicing fluid having known concentrations of the two or more dry components, and placing at least a portion of the wellbore servicing fluid into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation.

  • Patent number: 11066596
Abstract: Systems and methods having friction reducer compositions for use in subterranean treatment fluids are presented. An embodiment is a method comprising: (A) forming a treatment fluid comprising: an aqueous base fluid, a friction reducer, and an alkaline buffering agent, wherein the treatment fluid has a pH in the range of about 7 to about 10; and (B) injecting the treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating at least a portion of a subterranean formation at a pressure sufficient to create or enhance one or more fractures within the subterranean formation.

  • Publication number: 20200318990
Abstract: A method of producing a transit-time map uses a digital mapping service, a digital transit-time mapping program, and a connected digital device. A user-defined initial location, a pre-defined transit-time, and a user-chosen travel mode are input into the digital transit-time mapping program, Running the digital transit-time mapping program includes repeatedly accessing the digital mapping service to determine a locus of points on the digital spatial map. The time to travel from the user-defined initial location to each point of the locus of points is substantially equal to the pre-defined transit time for the user-chosen travel mode. The points of the locus of points on the digital spatial map are stored.

  • Publication number: 20070074888
Abstract: A structured wiring system and apparatus and method for preinstallation of cabling therefor in a building, preferably during construction thereof. A cabling support bracket holds cabling in place at a central signal receiving and distribution location, the bracket including a flange that forces wall finishers to leave a cutout providing access to the cabling. The cabling extends from the central signal receiving location in the building to each prospective access point at which cabling support brackets and wall plates are installed. A filler plate can be mounted on the flange of the support bracket to cover the hole and indicate where the central location is. Additionally, identifiers can be associated with particular installations to provide compensation to the builder who included the preinstallation. When a signal distribution system is to be installed, a cabinet base is placed on the support bracket flange.
