  • Publication number: 20250134549
Abstract: An atherectomy system includes a housing and a drive mechanism disposed within the housing, the drive mechanism including a knob that allows translation of the drive mechanism relative to the housing. A sensor is adapted to detect a current position of the knob relative to the housing. A controller is adapted to utilize the signal representative of the current position of the knob to ascertain whether the drive assembly is moving in a direction indicative of anterograde ablation or a direction indicative of retrograde ablation. A stall stop mechanism is adapted to move the drive assembly in a direction opposite a direction of ablation when a stall is determined to be imminent. The controller is further adapted to determine when a stall is imminent, and to actuate the stall stop mechanism in an appropriate direction when a stall is imminent.

  • Publication number: 20240321143
Abstract: A celestial display comprises a board and a plurality of position indicators arranged thereon, including (i) a star position indicator, (ii) a planet position indicator representing a planet that orbits a star represented by the star position indicator, and (iii) a plurality of orbit position indicators arranged around the planet position indicator that each represent a phase of a moon that orbits the planet. The planet position indicator and the star position indicator are arranged along a bisector line of the board and offset from a rotation axis of the board in opposite directions. Rotational positions of the board are each associated with a respective time of day relative to the planet, and, for each rotational position of the board, each of the plurality of orbit position indicators indicates a respective position of the moon relative to an observer on the planet at the respective time of day.

  • Patent number: 12047408
Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for anomalous network activity detection. In various examples, first application log data comprising a plurality of computer log actions may be received. A hidden Markov model associated may generate a first hidden state vector, where a first value of the first hidden state vector is associated with anomalous activity. A first timing vector associated with a first account may be determined, wherein the timing vector indicates first time periods of typical activity and second periods of typical inactivity for the first account. A first number of elements of the first hidden state vector that have the first value and which correspond to the second time periods of the first timing vector may be determined. Network access may be disabled for the first account.

  • Publication number: 20230153782
Abstract: Method and systems for tracking a solicitation of contributory payments from multiple parties in connection with a commercial transaction, such as a restaurant bill, by using an application that is trained by using a machine learning technique are provided. The method includes: receiving a notification that a transaction has been executed by a user; obtaining information that relates to the transaction; generating, based on the received information, a recommendation for soliciting contributions from potential participants with respect to the transaction; receiving information that relates to the potential participants; and receiving a confirmation of the recommendation. The generation of the recommendation may be implemented by applying a machine learning algorithm that is trained by using historical transaction data and/or data that relates to a merchant and/or a type of merchandise involved in the transaction.

  • Patent number: 11410226
Abstract: An advanced data platform may receive an asset pricing request containing information about an asset. An optimization engine may determine a predicted price for the asset at different locations and times and compute a price matrix accordingly. The engine may identify an optimized predicted price from the price matrix, taking into account the spatial and temporal factors and various optimization conditions. A view for presentation of the optimized predicted price for the asset on a client device is generated and communicated to the client device over a network. When the asset is a vehicle, the engine may compute a linear regression model that defines a set of input variables with associated regression coefficients, the set of input variables comprising input variables representing attributes describing the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11257101
Abstract: A residual value forecasting system may utilize heterogeneous data, such as used market data, industry-specific data, and non-industry-specific data, from disparate data sources to produce residual value forecasts of an item based on a sophisticated residual value forecasting model particularly configured for agility. The system can dynamically and quickly adapt to change in data inputs and produce custom outputs. The system may determine a baseline value for an item using the used market data, a microeconomic factor using the industry-specific data, and a macroeconomic factor using the non-industry-specific data, as well as adjustments such as locality adjustments and modifications. Given the macroeconomic factor and the microeconomic factor relative to the locality-adjusted value of the item and in view of the competitive sets of similar and/or substitute items in the same industry, the system can generate an accurate forecast residual value of the item at a future time point.
