  • Patent number: 8872030
Abstract: A cable management system for a patch panel component having a connectivity interface configured to connect with cables includes a cable support plate and two cable support brackets. Each cable support bracket includes a support bar, a first bracket and a second bracket. A fastener hingedly attaches the first bracket to the second bracket and is positioned to slideably mount the first and second brackets to the support bar. The first and second brackets include mounting plates that move toward and away from one another when sliding the cable support brackets. The brackets mount to opposed projecting pins on a patch panel. The fastener holds each cable support bracket in the desired position.

  • Patent number: 8018725
Abstract: A cable management system includes a patch panel having a rear connectivity interface configured to connect with cables, and a cable support bracket. The cable support bracket includes a cable support plate configured to support the cables connected to the rear connectivity interface, an arm extending from the cable support plate, and a bias mechanism. The arm includes at least one arm portion mounted to the patch panel and a locking finger movable with respect to the arm portion. The bias mechanism operatively engages the arm portion and the locking finger and is configured to move the locking finger between a biased position and a released position.

  • Patent number: 7806721
Abstract: A module assembly includes an interface module including a housing having a plurality of jack cavities and associated jack latch openings. The housing is configured to be mated with a patch panel. The module assembly also includes a plurality of modular jacks that are directly inserted into corresponding jack cavities. Each modular jack includes a single latch arm that engages the jack latch opening to retain the modular jack in the jack cavity. Optionally, each modular jack may include a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the latch arm extends from the top surface and wherein the bottom surface is planar. The bottom surface may rest flush with a bottom wall of the jack cavity.

  • Patent number: 7687716
Abstract: A cable management system for an electrical component having a connectivity interface configured to connect with cables includes a cable support bracket having a cable support plate configured to support the cables connected to the connectivity interface, and an arm having first and second arm portions. The first arm portion being coupled to the cable support plate and the second arm portion configured to be coupled to the electrical component. The first and second arm portions are selectively positionable with respect to one another such that the position of the cable support plate may be changed with respect to the connectivity interface.

  • Publication number: 20070011022
Abstract: A system and method for provisioning sales related application modules and data to mobile devices for users. The application modules provide users with access to information useful during the sales process, such as product features, specifications, comparisons, pricing, and inventory. The applications and data reside on the mobile device and are updated during automated wireless connections between the mobile device and a central server. The server includes a database that stores the sales related information, which can be entered into the system manually or retrieved automatically from remote computers. The system provides administrative functions that allow a user to define a sales location, including an associated set of products available for sale, and an associated set of salesperson users. Administrators may also designate application modules for use at individual locations, or by individual users, and may view various reports based on application module usage data collected from the mobile devices.

  • Publication number: 20060096394
Abstract: A non-contact, extractive sampling system and method is provided for measuring the exhaust gas and fine particle composition of various types of vehicles under actual operating conditions. A portion (or sample) of an exhaust plume of a vehicle is pulled or extracted through an extraction sampling tube, via a vacuum pump, to a remote trace gas detection system where the concentration of one or more constituents present in the sample of exhaust plume may be measured. In this regard, the invention enables vehicle emissions measurements to be made at a location remote from roadway, rather than using known, “cross-path” remote emissions sensing systems.
