  • Patent number: 12042870
Abstract: A pocket hole jig system is formed of a plurality of jig segments, wherein each jig segment includes a main body having a drill guide and a lock feature that protrudes outward on a first side of the main body and a recess that protrudes inward on a second side of the main body. The system also includes one or more spacers that have a main body of varying width and a lock feature that protrudes outward on a first side of the main body and a recess that protrudes inward on a second side of the main body. Jig segments and spacers may be connected together by inserting the lock feature of a jig segment or spacer into the recess of an adjacent jig segment or spacer. In one arrangement opposing jig segments and/or spacers lock together with a combination of rotational movement as well as sliding movement.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a pedal assembly that includes a pedal arm configured to move based on a load applied thereon and a housing that includes a first housing member having a first cavity and a pushrod operably connected to the pedal arm and to the first housing member. A first cradle positioned within the first cavity. The first cradle includes a second cavity. A first pair of springs positioned to extend within the second cavity. A second housing member having a third cavity. A second pair of springs positioned to extend within the second cavity and the third cavity. When a first predetermined load is applied to the pedal arm, the pushrod moves which drives the first cradle against the first pair of springs such that at least a compression energy by the first pair of springs generates a first force feedback onto the pedal arm.

  • Publication number: 20240056404
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums which provide for an agent support application with a plurality of plug-in communication support assistants. Each of the plurality of plug-in communication support assistants monitors communications between the agents and customers for different conversational triggers. Conversational triggers may be any conversation, either by the agent or the customer, that the communication support assistant is trained to detect. Upon detecting one of these conversational triggers, the plug-in communication support assistant provides one or more suggestions to the agent.

  • Publication number: 20230241479
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for determining and conveying a coupon amount for players and fans of a mass participation sport. A server receives an indication of a given sport team achieving a milestone (e.g. goal scored) during a game (e.g. road hockey), and increments a milestone count for the given sport team. According to an embodiment of the disclosure, the server determines at least one coupon amount (e.g. gift card at retailer) for players and fans of the given sport team based on the milestone count for the given sport team, and sends at least one message conveying the at least one coupon amount. In this way, the players and fans of the given sport team can become informed of the at least one coupon amount earned upon the milestone being achieved, thereby inciting excitement in their involvement with the given sport team by being “paid to play”.

  • Patent number: 11250239
Abstract: A ridge flow based fingerprint image quality determination can be achieved independent of image resolution, can be processed in real-time and includes segmentation, such as fingertip segmentation, therefore providing image quality assessment for individual fingertips within a four finger flat, dual thumb, or whole hand image. A fingerprint quality module receives from one or more scan devices ridge-flow—containing imagery which can then be assessed for one or more of quality, handedness, historical information analysis and the assignment of bounding boxes.

  • Publication number: 20210326615
Abstract: Systems and methods for repairing cross-linked biometric records receive a set of biometric records. Each biometric record contains at least one biometric sample in a non-textual modality. One or more of the biometric records in the set of biometric records is potentially a cross-linked biometric record having at least two biometric samples that are associated with different individuals. Crosslink resolution is performed on the set of biometric records by searching for a match between a biometric sample in a given non-textual modality of a given biometric record with each biometric sample of the same given non-textual modality in each of the other biometric records in the set of biometric records. During the crosslink resolution, biometric sample may be removed from one biometric record and merged with another biometric record.

  • Patent number: 11093731
Abstract: Spoofed faces are unlikely to reflect a liveness detection image in the same manner as live faces. To determine liveness of a subject face, a liveness detection image is displayed on a screen of a face recognition device in the direction of the subject face, and a reflection image of the subject face is captured while the liveness detection image is displayed. The reflection image is analyzed to determine whether the reflection image contains any reflections of the liveness detection image, and a liveness determination is made based on the location and/or character of any such reflections.

  • Patent number: 11036890
Abstract: Methods and computer systems execute biometric operations in parallel. The performance of a biometric operation includes receiving a job request to perform the biometric operation. The job request includes input data, identifies a database to be used in the performance of the biometric operation, and specifies a function to be performed. The biometric operation is restructured as one or more tasks. A number of entries in the database is assigned to each of the one or more tasks. An independent worker process is generated for each different core of the multi-core processor. Each task of the one or more tasks is assigned to one of the worker processes. Results produced by each worker process assigned one of the one or more tasks are collected. A result of the biometric operation based on the collected results is reported.
