  • Publication number: 20240112705
Abstract: The invention is directed to a cloud-connected dash camera (“dashcam”) system with continuous recording capability. The dashcam system is configured to record video segments in sync with GPS position data, upload the record video segments in sync with GPS position data to a backend server, and display the recorded video segments in sync with a GPS position on a map to an external computing device through a frontend graphical user interface.

  • Publication number: 20060112573
Abstract: A method for use with a vehicle wheel alignment system to detect vehicle roll or elevation change during a vehicle wheel alignment procedure requires the steps of observing individual vehicle wheels, and detecting a substantially simultaneous changes in position or rotational movement associated with each observed wheel. Responsive to detected changes, vehicle rolling movement or a vehicle elevation change is identified, enabling the vehicle wheel alignment system and/or operator to respond accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20060112145
Abstract: Record transfer is described herein. A method includes providing a software component to a record holder computer. The record holder computer may receive a request from a record transfer server to transfer a record from the record holder to the record transfer server. The software component may, in response to a user interaction, prepare a first version of the record and upload the first version of the record to the record transfer server. The software component may automatically and may regularly prepare a first version of one or more records and upload them to the record transfer server. The record transfer server may extract at least some material data included in the first version of the record. The record transfer server may store the material data. The software component may be a virtual printer driver, an application plug-in or other software.

  • Patent number: 6799376
Abstract: A wheel alignment adjustment system includes sensing apparatus for sensing alignment characteristics of a vehicle to be aligned, and a memory for storing alignment specifications for a plurality of vehicles and alignment adjustment parts. A fixture is provided to secure the sensing apparatus to a wheel hub of the vehicle upon removal of the vehicle wheel rim and tire assembly, and a logic circuit is provided to determine, from sensed alignment characteristics, and corresponding alignment specifications, an adjustment to alter the vehicle alignment characteristics. A display is also included for displaying to a user a representation of the determined alignment.
