    Abstract: An arm board is provided for supporting the arm during a surgical or imaging procedure in a manner that reduces the stress on the nerves and positions the arm in a more natural position for patient comfort, without interfering with the conduct of the surgical or imaging procedure. The arm board includes a main panel for being received under the patient and/or under a pad on the surgical table, and a trough portion for receiving and supporting the patient's forearm just below the height of the surgical table.
