  • Publication number: 20230055225
Abstract: A multiple tank heated water system and method for use with a beverage making apparatus. The system includes at least two individual water tanks for controllable heating water. A first tank of the multiple tanks including an inlet port receiving water from a water source for controllably heating water. A second tank communicating with the first tank to receive heated water from the first tank for controllably heating in the second tank. A control system operatively associated with the heated water system. A thermostat connected to each of the multiple tanks for detecting the temperature of the water within the tank, each thermostat communicating with the control system. A heating element associated with each tank, each heating element communicating with the control system.

  • Publication number: 20230028814
Abstract: A method for filling microchambers with a chemistry in a substrate containing a plurality of microchambers comprises forming a channel in the substrate such that the channel is fluidically connected with the plurality of microchambers. The chemistry is delivered into the channel so that the chemistry is delivered to each of the microchambers. The chemistry is then permitted to incubate within each of the microchambers. Excess chemistry is then removed from the microchambers by introducing fluid through the channel to each of the connected microchambers.

  • Publication number: 20080046278
Abstract: Remote monitoring of vehicle washing facilities allows a facility operator to more efficiently manage each site, particularly when combined with environmental conditions that influence the rate at which individual chemicals are used. Accurate chemical exhaustion times can therefore be predicted and communicated to the operator, and wash sequences and parameters may be altered in accordance with such environmental parameters. For example, information related to the composition of soil on a car may be monitored and used to alter the chemicals used in the wash cycle for that car. Other environmental conditions may include without limitation weather conditions, road conditions, types of vehicles, mechanical system status, vehicle temperature, etc.

  • Publication number: 20050036870
Abstract: A loading and transporting system for a motorcycle the includes a carrier mounted in a transporting vehicle and a ramp removably attached to the carrier, the ramp having an arched shape to prevent motorcycles having a low ground clearance from “bottoming out.” The carrier includes guide rails attached to the vehicle to allow the motorcycle to sit relatively low in the vehicle. Struts made of strong tubing are also provided to stabilize the motorcycle during transportation.
