  • Publication number: 20240251955
Abstract: A furniture item may include a base frame, a seat assembly, a linkage, a circuit board, a linkage, and circuit board assembly. The seat assembly may be supported by the base frame. The linkage may be configured to move at least one component of the seat assembly. The circuit board assembly may include a circuit board and an enclosure. The circuit board is housed within the enclosure and is in communication with an electric component. The enclosure may include a body, a first clip attached to the body, a second clip attached to the body, a first tab attached to the body, and a second tab attached to the body. The first and second clips and the first tab may engage a link of the linkage. The second tab may engage a beam of base frame.

  • Publication number: 20240250558
Abstract: A furniture item may include a frame member and a wireless charger assembly. The frame member may include an opening. The wireless charger assembly may be mounted to the frame member. The charger assembly may include a tray, a charging unit, and a retainer. The tray may include a ledge and a mounting boss. The tray may be at least partially received in the opening of the frame member. The ledge may be sized to prevent the tray from passing entirely through the opening. The retainer may include a first portion and a second portion that is resiliently flexible relative to the first portion. The first portion may be attached to the mounting boss of the tray. The second portion may extend outwardly from the mounting boss and may engage a surface defining a periphery of the opening of the frame member.

  • Patent number: 10512330
Abstract: A legrest mechanism including a seat base rail, a mechanism rail, a drive assembly, a pivot plate link, a pivot plate, a main drive link, and a parallelogram legrest link assembly. The drive assembly moves the mechanism rail relative to the seat base rail, which drives movement of the parallelogram legrest link assembly between a retracted position and an extended position. The parallelogram legrest link assembly includes first and second legrest links, footrest and legrest drive arms, and a legrest bracket. The main drive link has a pin that is slidingly received in a slot in one of the first legrest link, second legrest link, or main drive link such that movement of the parallelogram legrest link assembly is decoupled from movement of the main drive link when the legrest and/or parallelogram legrest link assembly encounters an obstruction while moving from the extended position to the retracted position.
