  • Patent number: 7719165
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a circuit arrangement for the precise, dynamic, digital control of especially piezoelectric actuators for micropositioning systems, comprising a regulator, whereby in order to minimise position order deviations the future system behaviour is estimated and current correction signals for the purpose of a feedforward correction are obtained. According to the invention, the signal of the command variable is passed via a switchable bypass to a digital/analog converter with highest resolution for the purpose of reducing the latency times in the feedforward loop of the sampling system, with said converter being operated at the sampling rate of the sampling system. The feedforward loop leads to a fast digital/analog converter which is controlled independent of the sampling system.

  • Publication number: 20070136924
Abstract: The present invention relates to clothing and more particularly to a garment designed to hold portable electronic devices and other items such as wallets, keys, etc. The garment has at least one and preferably more than one pocket to hold an electronic device, i.e., a cell phone. Each pocket includes an internal passageway that leads to an interior side of the vest. The garment also includes a central passageway system which includes two passageways that are on opposite sides of the central opening of the garment. The passageways are segmented and allow for installation of wires. The garment further includes a horizontal passageway that passes from the left side of the interior of the vest around the central portion of the back to the right side of the vest. In the central passageway system, one or more wires can be removed and installed from an individual passageway segment without disturbing other wires neatly fastened in other passageway segments.

  • Publication number: 20050281877
Abstract: Osmotic delivery system semipermeable body assemblies that control the delivery rate of a beneficial agent from an osmotic delivery system incorporating one of the semipermeable body assemblies are provided. A semipermeable body assembly or plug includes a semipermeable body which is positionable in an opening of an osmotic delivery system. The semipermeable body has a hollow interior portion having a size selected to obtain a predetermined liquid permeation rate through the semipermeable body. Because the beneficial agent in the osmotic delivery system is delivered at substantially the same rate, the osmotic agent imbibes liquid which has permeated through the plug from a surrounding environment, and the liquid permeation rate through the plug controls the delivery rate of the beneficial agent from the osmotic delivery system.

  • Publication number: 20040003507
Abstract: An electrician's conduit layout tool to facilitate placing conduit holes in electrical boxes wherein a small rectangular tool is provided having marking point for both sizes of strut, all parallel conduit marking locations in its peripheral edge and center marking locations for all conduit sizes on a one piece durable Tool. A three step method is used to layout any combination of conduits with no calculations. Is also used in strut rack layout parallel conduit marking locations in its peripheral edge. A panel schedule is also etched into the conduit layout tool for a wire-pulling guide. Lines are drawn through the center of the circumferential trace to facilitate the positioning of a conventional knockout.

  • Patent number: 6320732
Abstract: The present invention provides a power distribution system with a split section panelboard that provides two interior sections. Each section is supplied power from a separate power source. A common bus bridges the two sections. Remotely-operated circuit breakers for both the sections are connected to the common bus. A power interface unit converts power from one of the power sources to provide low voltage power for the circuit breaker motors and a control unit. The control unit in the panelboard controls the operation of the circuit breakers of both the sections.
