  • Publication number: 20220387150
Abstract: The invention comprises an improved method and system for building a denture. The invention further comprises a technique for building teeth and a denture base in a digital space. The invention even further comprises a method for adapting a digital denture base contemporaneously with changes made to digital teeth on the same model.

  • Patent number: 10952829
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of dentures. More particularly, the present invention relates to manufacturing denture teeth using fixtures to hold the teeth during a scanning, registration and milling sequence. Even more specifically, the present invention relates to using machinable wax to set denture teeth within a fixture, so that the root or crown end of the teeth may be scanned, registered with an ideal tooth model to create a milling strategy, and milled or otherwise have material removed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 27, 2017
Date of Patent: March 23, 2021
    Assignee: Global Dental Science LLC
    Inventor: Scott Keating
  • Patent number: 10835354
Abstract: A layered denture having at least one of an integrated layer, balanced occlusion, and a root approximating structure is disclosed. The resulting denture may be suitable for use without an underlying reinforcement bar and may provide enhanced aesthetics by approximating natural dentition and roots both above and below the gum line.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20140115928
Abstract: An article of footwear with customizable stiffness is provided. The article of footwear in the form of a snowboard boot is provided with stiffness elements that are inserted within retaining enclosures disposed on either side of an inner liner of the snowboard boot. Depending on the level of stiffness of the stiffener element, or lack thereof, different flex profiles having varying degrees of stiffness are available to the wearer to customize the stiffness of the snowboard boot when secured within a binding. A kit of parts is also disclosed that includes a pair of boots and two sets of interchangeable stiffener inserts to allow a wearer to customize the stiffness of the boots as desired.

  • Publication number: 20080038684
Abstract: A computational process for determining the appropriate bite alignment of an individual. The system and processes use digital models of the upper teeth, lower teeth and bite impression of an individual. Those models are fitted together in an appropriate bite alignment. The relative movement of the models are tracked mathematically. An optimization function is then used to determine the best fit between the models.

  • Publication number: 20060135276
Abstract: A training golf ball apparatus having an asymmetrical weighting or cavity means extending from proximal the center of the training golf ball to proximal the surface. The weighting or cavity means has a density different from the general density of the training golf ball. A guideline circumference marks the surface of the training golf ball along a circumference which, if the training golf ball was bisected, would reveal radial symmetry of the weighting or cavity means. An orthogonal guideline circumference, orthogonal to the guideline circumference, marks the surface of the training golf ball along a circumference which, if the training golf ball was bisected, would reveal radial symmetry of the weighting or cavity means.
