  • Publication number: 20120008753
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of email processing within a multitenant unified communications environment includes receiving, at a first email system component that is a sub-component of a unified communications system, an email that is addressed to a recipient by way of a delivery address that includes a first domain identifier. Based at least in part on the delivery address, a second delivery address associated with the user is identified. The second delivery address does not include the first domain identifier but does include a second domain identifier that is different than the first domain identifier. The email is automatically sent to the second delivery address.

  • Publication number: 20060237971
Abstract: A control unit assembly is disclosed including a housing, at least one processor to control operation of an engine, and a voltage regulator configured to regulate a voltage of at least one rail of the engine. The at least one processing unit and the voltage regulator reside on a common circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20050176314
Abstract: An apparatus and method are presented to dynamically control operation of an engine component, e.g. fuel pump assembly or oil pump assembly, so that the engine component is operable at voltages that exceeds its rated or maximum operational voltage. An engine control monitors the rail voltage provided by an engine's energy source and provides a dynamic control of the engine component to be operable at that rail voltage. In this regard, the engine component is controlled to be operable at voltages exceeding its rated or maximum operational voltage, but is also controlled to be operable at varying voltages that are above its rated maximum.

  • Publication number: 20050039722
Abstract: A system and method for operating a two-stroke engine that includes at least one cylinder, a piston reciprocally disposed therein, and a scavenging port for egress of exhaust gasses therefrom. A charge purity detector is in operable association with the at least one cylinder to detect irregular combustion in the at least one cylinder. An ECU is connected to receive signals from the charge purity detector and programmed to adjust a charge parameter in a next cycle in response to detected irregular combustion.

  • Patent number: 6801849
Abstract: An arrangement is provided for engine diagnostic via PDA. An engine diagnostic system, realized on a PDA, presents a menu to a user with a plurality of options related to engine diagnostic operations through a user graphical interface. The PDA is in connection with an engine management mechanism of an engine. The user makes a selection of an engine diagnostic operation to be performed with respect to the engine. The engine diagnostic system performs the selected engine diagnostic operation through the engine management mechanism of the engine.

  • Patent number: 6170463
Abstract: A method and apparatus for optimizing desired operational characteristics of an engine having a positionable throttle and a plurality of cylinders wherein data representing the same gross amount of fuel to be injected into all of the cylinders at any given throttle position and engine RPM setting is provided to obtain a gross optimization of the desired engine operational characteristics and the data representing the gross amount of fuel to be provided to each cylinder is adjusted for each cylinder individually at any given RPM setting to provide data representing a specific amount of fuel to be provided to each cylinder individually to optimize the desired engine operational characteristics with respect to fuel injection.

  • Patent number: 5947069
Abstract: A tappet comprises a foot having a convex cam contact surface and an axially extending hub, a tappet body having a lower body portion with a lower axial bore formed therein to receive the axially extended hub of the foot, and a bearing assembly positioned between the foot and the lower portion of the tappet body. The cam contact surface operates in a frictional relationship with a cam lobe of a rotating cam. The frictional relationship between the cam lobe and the cam contact surface of the foot induces the foot to rotate about the center line of the tappet. The bearing assembly operates to reduce friction as the foot independently rotates axially about a center line of the tappet body.
