  • Publication number: 20260096632
Abstract: A cord-lock assembly that includes an insertion component and a receiving component. The receiving component has a hollow body with a cavity and openings for a cord to pass through. The insertion component has a shank that fits into the receiver's cavity, with a channel that slides along a guide ridge inside the cavity. When the insertion piece is pushed into the receiver, it holds the cord tightly in place. The insertion piece also has openings for the cord, and slots that let the cord be inserted from the side. The shank has small ribs near its tip that press the cord against the inside of the cavity for extra grip. The guide ridge and channel can be angled to help align the pieces during insertion.

  • Publication number: 20260041205
Abstract: A buckle assembly that includes an insertion part and a receiving part. The insertion part has a housing with a projecting appendage that features one or more catches. The receiving part has a housing with an opening designed to accept the appendage of the insertion part. A first magnetic component is positioned in or on the receiving part, and a second magnetic component is positioned in or on the insertion part. At least one of the magnetic components is a permanent magnet, and the two components are arranged so they attract each other when the parts are brought together, helping to guide and engage them during assembly. Additionally, the receiving part includes a pair of pivoting latches that engage with the catches on the insertion appendage to securely lock the two parts together.
