  • Patent number: 10956296
Abstract: Event correlation may include identifying a feature set for each log file of a plurality of log files, and extracting the feature set for each event of a plurality of events in each log file of the plurality of log files. Event correlation may further include determining a plurality of trace event pairs linkage strength values for an event from a first log file of the plurality of log files and a plurality of events from a second log file of the plurality of log files. The trace event pairs linkage strength values may represent an overlap of the feature set for the event from the first log file and the feature set for each of the plurality of events from the second log file.

  • Publication number: 20150242874
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for incentivizing the sharing of a mobile application, comprising providing, on a user interface of a mobile application executed on a first mobile electronic device of a first user, an offer for a promotion, which promotion is accessible by the first user when the first user elects to share the mobile application with at least one second user having a second mobile electronic device. Next, a request from the first user to share the mobile application with the second user is received, and an electronic communication is directed from the first mobile electronic device to the second user, which electronic communication has an electronic link that enables the second user to download a copy of the mobile application onto the second mobile electronic device. Next, the first user is provided with the promotion.

  • Patent number: 8938435
Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for managing data across an enterprise. A request for information is received from a user. Data relating to the user request is searched for in at least two geographically separated information repositories. The results of the search are presented to the user. The user is allowed to browse through additional data of the information repositories. Links between data items and other data entries in the information repositories are created according to relationships the data items have to the other data entries.

  • Publication number: 20060193288
Abstract: “Context” of an environment or area is considered to be one or more characteristics of the environment or area, manifested by the presence of various types of equipment or devices. Detection of various types of devices and equipment in a localized area is by way of short-range wireless signals over which data about the devices is transmitted to one or more subscriber units. The subscriber units can forward context-determinative data and information to a service provider which can vicariously use the equipment or devices in the area via the subscriber device.

  • Publication number: 20060053378
Abstract: Enhanced delivery of services are provided through a wireless mobile device and one or more location service channels, preferably at the direction of the user of the mobile device requesting the desired service through common context-based user interfaces. The mobile device communicates with local and remote service providers. The context is determined by accessing information in the user profile, by sensors on the mobile device identifying items of interest, or by identifying the location of the mobile device. An aggregator server maintains a registry of location service channels and manages the access to the channels by the mobile device users and the service providers.

  • Publication number: 20050065930
Abstract: A system including a document repository is provided. The system determines, automatically, a level of similarity between at least two of a plurality of discrete elements stored in the document repository. The system then stores data representative of a link between the elements based in-part on the level of similarity. In another embodiment, the system determines a relationship between documents by retrieving a plurality of documents from a document repository. The system segments at least two documents of the plurality of documents into a plurality of conceptually meaningful segments. The system determines if a segment of one document is related to a segment of another document and stores data representative of the relationship.
